I drove my RWD (BMW 135i) car in the winter with winter tires for the first year. It was stable enough... but I just decided to get a winter beater after that first winter season.

Gotta get nice quality wheels that are strong. My old rims never had a bend despite hitting every pothole in baltimore and doin 180mph runs and hitting ****

been messing around with my car the past couple weeks. plastidipped the wheels just to get an idea of what black rims would look like. kinda like the look, but still love the way the original rims look. i just wish they came in 19's instead of 18's, because i think that's the perfect size for this car so i might end up getting some black 19's come spring.
i'm going to paint the brakes eventually. either going to go with the red from the performance package or maybe get a nice blue if i can find one that i like.
also bought the 2012+ tail lights from mercedes and installed them myself. went in there with no idea of what i was doing, but ended up swapping them out pretty easily. probably saved a couple hundred bucks by doing it myself instead of going to the dealer or random body shop and getting them to do it.
i just bought some snow tires too, but haven't put them on yet. my friend told me that since i have RWD they weren't going to help me at all...but i was under the impression that they would make the car at least somewhat driveable in the snow/ice/slush. does anyone have any insight?

i want to paint my calipers red also. on a RWD car u need at least studless if not studded tires to see a difference. i mean full blown winter none of that performance winter. its still RWD so don't get ur hopes to high u kno?

when i first got it, i never drove with the esp on...now i just turn it off when i'm in the mood. after i got the ecu tune done....it was just
. i can never go back to a normal car again. i think i'll always try to keep this car, but at the same time, business has been doing great so i'm either eyeing an r8 or an SL65 with the black series wide body conversion next (not a fan of the new SL body).

my cousin just copped the c300, i have the 07 c230 with 56k, moms got the 03 e320.. im thinking bout coppin the c300 grill for my c230, can anybody photoshop what it would look like for me lol? and got 35% tint (legal but thinking about dropping it to 25%)... got no money for rims (pointless right now since that would be a waste of $)
btw, if anybody has a c230... and doesnt have AUX installed.. i payed $50 for the cord and did it myself.. the dealer would charge $300.. benz DIY forum FTW

on the topic of snow tires. while they dont make it night and day 
they do help if you buy really good ones. Do some research and you can find some good ones but they are expensive.

Copped the triple black '13 GT/CS last Saturday. I actually had one ordered, but Ford was bs'ing and the ETA date kept getting pushed back. I took upon myself to look around some more to find one I wanted on the lot. Crappy iPhone pics, but that's all I have for now. The front on the CS is . The only thing I'm unsure about is whether or not I want to remove the side stripes. Currently waiting on the roush axleback to put on next weekend, will lower the car about 1"-1.5" and get some wider tires in the back. The car came with 245/45/19 Pirelli's .
I went to the tint shop yesterday. Tinted the side markers, reflector lights and 3rd brake light. 15% on the windows, 35% on the windshield. Car looks a 100% better with the dark tint. Unfortunately, these pics are two days before I got the tint

Yeah up in Victorville all the dealers down the hill were trying to charge 10k minimum over msrp for 2012s I know one of the salesman and he hooked it up for msrp. Took about 2months to take delivery after he put in his order for his 2013 Here is a pic of the mini-me thank you present he gave me
