Hoping my next vehicle will be a Jeep Wagoneer.  There's a place here in Texas that restores them.

What would you guys say would be a better car to get, 07-09 Honda Civic Ex Sedan or a 06-08 VW GTI. Both will be automatic and mostlikely financed with a good down payment. With the GTI not sure if i want a 2 or 4 door.

What's your price range? Which one seems more reliable based on reviews?

You in to customizing? If so which one can you do the most with?

Oh and me personally, I'm a 4 door guy.

Price 11-14k Not much of a customizing guy, will probably just do minor things that have nothing to do with performance. Reviews on the GTI are everywhere, some good some bad. Only thing im worried about is repair cost on the GTI.

I would go for the civic personally. It'll get the job done and it's very reliable/easy maintenance. Insurance on civics is quite high though, so look out for that. If we were talking new/lease, I'd say gti. Look around at the Lexus IS, you might be able to pull one for around that price perhaps.

Well from what I've seen, the Civics you're looking at are around the 50K mark in mileage. I assume that is fine by you. But that also means the warranties are probably gone or near it. That's something I'd think about just in case anything happens, you're pretty much covered.

Between the 2 cars, I'd go Civic.

Also if you can, I'd recommend going newer. Before I got my car, I had a nice amount of people telling me to go cheap and older for my car. I decided to go with my brothers advice and go newer so I'll cover myself in many cases as far as warranties and the on top of that, the advancements new cars have over older models.

It's a gsr I picked the shell up for a really good price and I put jdm gsr swap in it. I bought it just how it sits for the price I paid I couldn't pass it up
