**Official 50 Cent Thread **Street King Immortal Final Album?**

promised, 50 Cent drops the full-length version of “New Day,” the lead single from his upcoming Street King Immortal LP featuring Dr. Dre and the delectable Alicia Keys.

As we mentioned when the 30-second snippet dropped, this song is basically a minor re-working of Keys’ Swizz Beatz-produced single of the same name that dropped earlier this year. This is the second time Fif has done this recently, as “Be My *****” from his 5: Murder By Numbers freebie was also originally someone else’s song that he just put his own rhymes over. Pretty lazy move there, Fif.

Fortunately, Fif’s version of “New Day” is still hitting, even though I kinda like AK’s version better. And with Dre finally reappearing on wax with recent cameos on Kendrick Lamar‘s “The Recipe,” Rick Ross‘ “Three Kings” and now this, might we finally be close to feasting our ears on the mythical Detox album?

Yeah, I doubt it, too. But you’ve gotta admit — it was worth the reach, right?

Check out “New Day” below. Street King Immortal drops in November.

50 Cent called into Monterey, California radio station 102.5 KDON recently to talk to Eric The Funky 1. He opened up about the features on his upcoming album Street King Immortal.

"[People] can expect me, Eminem... I did a song with Chris Brown on the record, Trey Songz," 50 said. "I did a song with Ne-Yo. In the process I recorded with half of [the] music culture. I worked with everybody. In the past I hadn't reached out to artists and worked with them as much because 'Get Rich or Die Tryin' didn't have anyone that wasn't in house."

Erik congratulated 50 on the enormous success of Get Rich or Die Tryin, and said that when he throws on "In Da Club" it still gets the crowds pumping in the nightclubs almost 10 years later.

The conversation then shifted to 50's new movie Freelancers. The G-Unit boss talked about how great it was to get the chance to work with Forest Whitaker and Robert De Niro.

"I always wanted to keep myself associated with projects that have artistic integrity that I can be proud of, " 50 explained. "And having two Academy Award winning actors around me in the actual picture, you can't have more support than that."

Other topics covered included Street King energy drink, SMS Audio headphones, his workout routine and his upcoming fitness book Formula 50, which will be released on December 27 via iTunes and Hardcover.

 :pimp: "First Date". Pretty cool song, though not one that should probably be on [another] 50 comeback album. Sounds more like a really good mixtape track. "Money" is alright

50 Cent is enlisting some major star power for his new single. The hip-hop mogul has called on his mentor Eminem and Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine for “My Life.” The song is slated to hit iTunes on November 27 and a video has already been shot in Detroit with director Rich Lee (Eminem, Nicki Minaj).

Originally due this month, 50’s fifth album Street King Immortal has been delayed until early 2013. The follow-up to 2009’s Before I Self Destruct has spawned the singles “New Day” with Dr. Dre and Alicia Keys and “First Date” featuring Too $hort.

If this doesn't get him a mainstream hit, nothing will

And on that note, time to go to sleep  That was mediocre. 50 needs to link up with whoever produced "Off & On" and "I just Wanna" and live in the studio.

i'm guessing this song is dropping soon, he's gonna peform this on NBC's The Voice tomorrow

That song with Em and Adam Levine is nice. Don't like Em's flow though but it's a solid song.

I feel like I'd be buying this album based on what he did in the past instead of thinking this will actually be good. I heightened expectations for BISD because supposedly he "was back to the old 50", and that album was a brick outside of 3-4 songs. Will listen to a bunch of snippets or something before I even think about getting this
