NT, school me on Foamposite Technology

Thanks for the info CWK and everyone else. I think I'm convinced enough to go scoop myself up a pair to wear everyday for a reasonable price.

Foam based shoes are crap for basketball. I prefer regular shoes with just full grain leather, a good midsole and good traction. That's all you need. NIke tried so hard with all the gimmick tech in the late 90s and early 2000s now they realized they should shed everything and go the hyper route because less is more. Simple shoes are always the best performance shoes. 2k4, 2k5, Hyperdunk, Kobes IV , V , Huaraches etc. No further explanation is needed

those were far from simple if that's what you are referring to.

I wear a 9.5w or a 10. In foams though it's strictly 10's. These are so comfortable and super durable. I ball in them sometimes outside, but they get sweaty and hot when I wear them in the gym. Love these shoes.

After many years of wearing air maxes, jordans and kobe's...

i finally squeezed the nipple and purchased my first pair of Foams (the pearls a couple weeks back).

The uneuphemised description entailing the quality of this shoe being "TANKS" is an accurate statement.

(and i at one point, considered the Griffey Max 1's to be the best build in shoes until i came across Foams).

My goodness... the first night i copped 'em, wore them to the club and had them stepped on a bevy of times.
Went home and scrubbed the bottom and brushed/rinsed off the scuffs and they are brand new again.

Wow.

It's like you can't even go back to Jordans with these with the Foams being such a superior shoe.

For the past couple of weeks, i've been placing my foams on the side of my pillow and go to sleep with them.

Aesthetically monumental, wonderfully crafted, durability equivalent to construction boots with technology that was
ahead of its time and parallels/exceeds contemporary shoe tech.

When i dropped 220 for these babies at niketown, i was iffy... but they grow on you. I'd do 'em if i could.

Ah.  I see, so they DON'T mold to the shape of your foot then?  And the reason for their durability is because of the composite material used? To all that posted, thanks! But I'd really appreciate some answers to my inquiries in my original post as well

...foamposite hardly stretches but when heated it becomes pliable and will in fact take to the shape of the wearers foot with time/use...
*blow-drying posites' and then immediately wearing them is a good way to speed-up the process.

...and yeah, durability is achieved from a combination of the outer synthetic 'membrane'(which retains the preferred colour) and the posite' itself...

Thx

foamposites suck for actual balling.

but they're great as boots in the wintertime. comfort and durability.

Great overall shoe that are extremely durable.

Some color ways are harder to find but they are all nice.

Looking forward to Pewters and Royals, Ones of course, and hopefully the Metallic Red releases.
