This thread is only about his blocking....There are plenty of RB's in the NFL who are more talented, but there is no one else in the NFL right now who is on his level w. pass protection and running 50+ yards downfield to block for a teammate.  He's a savage.

Yeah Portis is serious about his blocking, ive seen Jones Drew throw some good blocks too.

Thank Don Soldinger. He was Miami's RB coach back when McGahee, Portis, Gore, etc was all at the U. All of Miami's RBs are pretty good in pass protection thanks to Soldinger.
