I agree, but right now, the blocking isn't doing it for me as well as the Torch.  
I'd love to see a proper AGM1 OG c/w.

AGM2's look spot-on.  I have a sneaky feeling the discussion in this thread will be more towards the AGM2's...

So this is like a griffey 1/2 cent? Looks alright for now, but I'm interesting in seeing more pics

colors just aren't working. hope they go with more traditional griffey colors in the future.

Not really... it's more like a "reboot" of the AGM1, I think.  They basically took the AGM1's and made a few changes to it... no strap, Torch on the upper and AM2009 outsole (as far as I can tell).  Even the trio of lines extending from the lace loops were from the AGM1's.  
I think the Swingman Remix was more of a "1/2 cent", as it took elements from the AGM1 & 2.

Interesting, but definitely not feeling the torch usage.
Also - looking at the AGMII at the bottom right, I hope they didn't swap cheap plastic in place of the carbon fiber at the side of the heel, but it looks awfully shiny in that pic

Man I swear that 09 sole is God sent but when used on other shoes..... they just doesn't compare
