should NIKE restore MICHAEL VICK's contract?

I would love to see what kind of commercial that would direct for him. Nike has the dopest commercials.

the way he's playing right now, i wouldn't surprised if Nike jumped at the idea of resigning him

To put it simply...
-After what he did he shouldn't be allowed to make millions of dollars playing a game.
-Those guys, whoever they may be, that have also done horrible things shouldn't be allowed to play either. For example, if Roethlisberger did in fact rape that woman then he should also be booted...no question.
-I hardly think less than 2 years in prison is paying for his 'transgressions'.
-A job in which he makes millions of dollars, as well as what many would consider other perks.
-assumptions..

. I never said or even implied anything remotely close to that. There are plenty of people who go to jail that deserve a second chance. The issue is the status of Vick's profession.

In the end it all comes down to a person's morals and how strongly that person feels about Vick's crime. In my eyes, Vick did something unforgiveable and the last thing he should get is millions of dollars to play a game and a slew of adoring fans...not to mention a Nike contract.
His profession is relative, just as everything is.  He should not be further penalized because his job makes more money than most.

I'm not assuming anything.  All I did was use your statement and apply it to everyone.  The law is the law, it should not look at one person differently than another.  He served his penalty for the crimes he committed based on the law.  Don't forget that he is not 'making' all this money.  He filed for bankruptcy and owes many creditors quite a bit of money.

His play, so far, is at the highest level in the NFL.  Based on that he has earned the contract and Nike contract.  If he stays clean why would they keep their distance?  America was built on second chances.

I do not think it comes to morals, more personal opinion.  I am a dog lover, and yes, his actions are unforgivable in my eyes.  I do not like what he did, but as a professional athlete I cannot stop watching him because what he does is incredible.  He fulfilled his obligations for committing that crime in the courts eyes so in my mind he paid for what he did.  All personal opinion.  To non dog lovers he, yes brutally, killed animals.  In certain cultures it is a part of life, whether its dogs, chickens, or bulls, it is not looked down upon but looked at as sport.  Same thing as hunting.

Good point, never got why this was such a big deal. Why is it that people are allowed to hunt game while it is considered a crime to kill a dog. Aren't they both animals and should be treated with respect. I never understood the logic behind that, I guess cause it's man's best friend they should get preferential treatment.
