The II - IV models in the LeBron line were envelope-pushing, performance focused shoes that all looked pretty damn good. Seriously, remember the IV?
That's a damn shoe right there. Comfortable, striking, beasts on the court, everything you could ask for.
Anyway, four short years later, and this is what his signature model looks like. Keep in mind, the IV retailed at $150, with the expensive foamposite and thick zoom cushioning. This air max and synthetic upper of the VIII is $10 more expensive. So as the quality and style decrease, the price goes up.
Are you kidding me, Nike?
I wouldn't buy these at Ross for $39.99. They look like a Sears copy of a Nike shoe. Shame how the promising line got so messed up.
