Air Jordan 1 Banned NO BUYING/SELLING/TRADING!!

So just to make sure I'm correct. BASICALLY the only way for someone to tell If you had "banneds" or "breds" is if they were jacking them off of your feet right?

the x's are easy to see in pics. also, i don't care how much you wanna justify the x's say what you want but i would take a pair without them everytime if i got to choose between them and the banned.

Presentation? You mean a filmsy box and 2 extra set of laces that no one will use? I wonder if any of you guys have even worn your banned 1s, they crease way more then other 1s and overtime the toebox will show leather cracks (think red suede gucci 1s). No way these shoes are remotely worth $450+

I understand the people who own these shoes will defend it and want to retain their value but let's be honest, I'm just speaking the truth and not the one letting the shoe sit in my closet and think the value will rise. But it's a no brainer that when these retro in the OG form, banned 1s will be like thunder 4s, an afterthought. Just a suggestion but do what you want with your pairs...

honestly though... are these going to drop in price? getting a pair this month, already gave the guy down payment which im sure he won't refund... news of the black red 1's in november came to me like a rapist in the night :frown:

same shoe, same colorway...i get it. but did the value of the dmp 11's fall cause of the concords? i dont think so

The dmp is arguably the most over rated over "valued" shoes in Jordan history. 1k for a shoe will hold paint on it
 
sounds to me like the ones hating on banned's don't actually own a pair...

the quality > caring about muted X's on the back...

i own 2001's and banned's, and banned's are special. they are better quality than the 2001's for sure.

you can bet JB ain't gonna drop a GR bred anytime soon with quality like that... it's gonna be the same plastic type crap leather...

where's the proof bred's are gonna drop later this year, anyways?

sounds like another BS rumor made up out of thin air and assumptions, just like these dumb, thirsty for a story, blogs did about BC 3's with NA... :lol:
 
Alot of hate on the banneds all from those who couldnt get a pair, no way IF they drop and thats a big if will the quality come close to the banneds. You want to compare hold the Royals up to the Banneds and look at the difference.

due to the quality difference, limited numbers, and real collectors that have to have them, they're not gonna drop a lot... they will drop some, but not terribly, imo.

those who copped the 2013 royals claim to have their grails but they know the quality isnt on par with the 01s. im sure the same will be said IF jb releases a "retro " banned 1 so to speak. they might throw around "varsity red" in there...who knows.

what are you even talking about? not all shoes drop in value because a newer one comes out. case in point, look at the 01 Royal and Bred 1s. Breds maintained their value after the Banneds and DMP 1s dropped and 01 Royals shot up another 100-150 bucks. The only reason Thunder 4s dropped is because the last go round a few months ago was a true GR that has better quality than the 06 QS.

and the quality on the Banned 1s is enough to keep the price high. the quality was actually better on Banneds than my 94 Breds. name another Jordan 1 that got scrapped that had buttery leather and ample ankle padding? you cant. the story of how Banneds dropped will keep their value and demand high. and whether you want to admit it or not, the box was a pretty special design. granted the template was the OG style Nike box but to have all of the logos Xed out on it and the entire "Imagine If?" theme was pretty incredible. if you dont own a pair of these you will never understand.
