I remember these Started to surface at so many outlets but only the First too did phone orders. I Passed up On a pretty low resale expecting to get it at Retail smh.

When the Citadel outlet got these it was insanity. They had just opened like 8 months before and didn't know how to handle it. There's a picture of the line stretching around the entire mall

my pair came in, and these were the things i was asking about. dude tells me they're legit and he's pretty reputable so i trust him, but are there pairs out there with the weird cut of leather aside from mine? and are they as tall as the DMP 1's??
Even the quality on these is horrible, one is clearly higher than the other. My last 3 Jordan 1 purchases have had this same issue.

Resellers don't sit on them for 2 years. Most people that resell flip them fast, that's the game. Hard to call someone a reseller if they hang onto a shoe and decide to sell it later.Can't believe these are going for 800+

I passed on a size 14 ds pair for $400 last week.. if they woulda been 13s I may have copped if he came down a lil
7-800??? Where? Ebay and not sold? Or chicago? I see em all the time under 400-450

black and red 1s are SUPPOSEDLY coming out later this year. some people have already called out that rumor though so we will see.

There is no way that all these OG branded 1's won't culminate into the black/red 1's for the holidays. It's the perfect storm. We always get counterparts in the beginning and end of the year 2011: white/cement 3 end of the year black cement. 2012:white cement 4 end of the year black cement. This year being the year of the 5's and the resurgence of air Jordan 1's we got the 3m fire red 5 and we'll get the black tongue toward the end of the year. We got the mythical black/royal 1 in the beginning of the year as well so it's only right that we get the mythical black/red 1 too. But this is still purely speculation. I'm just being optimistic and trying to follow patterns...

I missed these when they came out. Jordans were in my rear view then and it wasn't until a year after their release that I revisited my love for Jordan shoe collecting.
Anyway, someone offered me a straight up trade - his once worn Banneds for my black/gold 1s. I'm not asking what you think of the trade, what I really would like to know is how do Banneds compare to Vegas 1s quality wise?

I would say yes, but it weighs more on your personal preference. In my eyes I would take that trade, soley because after a few wears those black/gold 1s will not be looking at nicely as they should. Banneds compared to Vegas 1s are pretty close, banneds may have the edge but not by much both were made were very impressive leather for the time they dropped.
I can agree with that, only makes sense they would follow suit and release them. However, you would think it would be a Black Friday releae but many are speculating something else to drop on that day instead, so I guess we will have to wait and see..

man if he offered a true worn once Banned 1 for those, you should take that offer immediately before the guy changes his mind.. the quality on the Banned 1's is sick, premium top notch quality leather (much better than this year's Royal 1's leather), crazy detail everywhere on the shoe from the sock-liner to the insoles to the lace tips, special edition box & packaging.. don't sleep dude, give this guy your patent leather ones and grab the real OG heat. he will one day look back at that trade & realize he was fleeced

the bred colorway me be retroed but not the banned shoe per say ( no x, no special box, no intricate detailings on the shoe and especially not the same quality) black and golds will be re-done again for sure in a couple of years ( more likely than the banned 1 being retroed) do it my man

what makes you say this? the black/gold 1s had never been retro'd before 2013, and even with this year's retro, there were VERY limited pairs available.
