How to clean nike free 7.0

Ok I have the red/white cw and the mesh part got dirty dog stepped on them with mud. I'm not sure if I should throw them in the washer or use some shoe cleaner. Any advice will be appreciated thanks

Alright washing machine it is . . . Did you guys use some special soap or just throw them in w/o anything
