I've sent several of these pictures from different shipments/orders to one of the eastbay reps already and obviously nothing has been done.

These are the responses I've gotten back.

1)Eastbay is looking at this matter.
2)Right now, eastbay is not going to change their shipping policy.
3)You can return them.(And buy them again. Ok. Eastbay already has my money. Return will take 2-3 weeks. I buy them again, I get charge another $100 plus. So now  have 2 charges on my credit card and on top of that, Eastbay will ship it in a plastic bag anyways). So whats the point of returning them and buying it again?
4)You can exchange them(even if I exchange them, it will take another 2-3 weeks for me to get the exchange and still be shipped in that plastic bag). So whats the point of exchanging them?
5)Sorry for the inconvenience.(why even apologize if Eastbay will keep shipping in a bag and I will get the same damage package everytime?)

We appreciate the pictures you have sent and would like to emphasize that they are very helpful.  We do ask that customers contact us via private message so that we can help resolve any issues.  Our Eastbay Rep team handles more packaging issues than most of our customer service agents and are better suited to handle these situations.  Many times we can reduce the amount of time it takes for a return or exchange drastically.

We certainly understand the frustration of receiving damaged shipments.  It is because of this we offer a full return or replacement for items that have been damaged.  We do not ship items that already have damage and it is unfortunate that many seem to be handled so poorly. Packages handled properly would not take the amount of damage we have seen in some of the pictures. 

Changing packaging procedures of this nature is a long process.  We are and have been addressing this issue for some time now.  We do not know if or when our packaging procedures will change at this time, but please do not feel as if your efforts have not been worthwhile.  We are working towards a solution every day and the comments and pictures our customers provide are a big help.  The pictures are the best representation of the damage some our packages take.  I strongly recommend contacting us via private message should you encounter any future issues.  Thank you.

stop being cheap Eastbay and just ship ALL shoes in BOXES...clothing, socks and accessories in a bag is fine,but shoes should be shipped in boxes...if not, charge $1 or $2 for double boxed shipment so you give the customer an OPTION instead of fn em over

Slept on these when it was released in Manila but past Monday had the chance to cop at retail and can't wait to rock them.

does anyone know if Nike will ever retro the Air Penny I's that he always wore during the home games?

The Air Penny I's all black, which he wore during the playoffs were retroed in 2001, but will they also ever be retroed again?

to be quite honest i blame nike for some of the packaging issue. the boxes they used to make were pretty sturdy (got several stacks at least ten high in the other room), but since they went to these eco friendly boxes you can hardly shut them without having them fall apart.
