OFFICIAL 2010-2011 NBA PLAYOFFS THREAD : VOL. MOST. ANTICIPATED. PLAYOFFS. EVER?

Isn't the plan to run more this season? I'm sure they'll still use the triangle but the first option is to run from what I read over the summer.

I feel like I was hearing that at the beginning of last season too though when Rambis was introducing it

... said it would 50-50 or something.

However, Minnesota became a lot more athletic in the off-season (Beasley, Webster, Johnson, etc.) so hopefully they'll be more committed to it this season.

If Dwight finally learned a post move, maybe. However, Vince is another year older, and they have go through Boston and Miami. I'd say it's a pretty low chance.

Magic picking up Duhon I think is going to pay big dividends for them as the season progresses. Jay Will was re-signed back in August but has he made the final roster?

Yeah. It all comes down to Howard in the end though. If he finally becomes that DOMINANT center he has the potential to be....Oh boy. It's a wrap IMO

As i'm watching this Heat game...I still wonder if Lebron wonders if he made the right still. He just doesn't seem right. it may just be me not used to seeing him in another jersey but idk.

Things will pan very nicely soon as Wade is back in the backcourt with him. I think in some ways though very minimally, we're still trying to get used to him lol. I mean Wade can be considered in many ways as a smaller guard version of Bron in terms of aggressiveness and style of play, but Bron makes the game flow a bit easier without necessarily having that dominant presence in my opinion. Or should I say forcing that presence. We all know Bron is capable of taking over a game, but it'll be imperative that Ego's are some how some way checked at the door come start of League season play. I firmly believe we have the pieces to make that come to fruition.

I think he made the BEST choice.

Jazz aim to give Williams reason to stay

LeBron James and Chris Bosh left their respective teams for a bigger market, more sun and a better chance at winning an NBA championship with the Miami Heat. Carmelo Anthony wants to leave the Rocky Mountains for the bright lights of New York or Chicago. Chris Paul’s representatives told the New Orleans Hornets this summer that he, too, would prefer a trade.

The union of the Heat’s Big Three has spurred a handful of the league’s young All-Stars to think about trying to form their own super teams. So should the Utah Jazz worry about point guard Deron Williams eyeing greener pastures?

Not as long as they keep winning.

I would Love those first round series.. Honestly lol..

And i think Utah will have an up year, not sure how far they'll go though but

Okur
Jefferson
Kirilenko
Raja Bell (Some to finally guard Kobe )
Williams

Bench: Hayward, Millsap, Cj Miles, Earl Watson

LA vs LA, the whole "2010 free agency" vs the Knicks..

 @ that Shaq story.

Like I said before those Magic alternates are nice.

Anyone know when they're gonna debut them?

I'm wondering how many other teams got a new alternate this season?

Magic can win the title, just all about timing to me. Of course Dwight really needs to make that final leap to a legitimate post game and be able to control the game offensively as well as defensively... but they also need to get hot with their 3 point shooting. A repeat of two seasons ago at the end of the season/start of the playoffs and they can beat any team in the league, including the Heat/Lakers.

Dwight finally makes that last step, and if Vince is able to step up, they have the pieces to do it.
