OFFICIAL 2010-2011 NBA PLAYOFFS THREAD : VOL. MOST. ANTICIPATED. PLAYOFFS. EVER?

For a Knick fan, yeah. Mozgov is a very nice addition (especially at his price). But, for most other teams having a center that is respectable kind of is expected. It's something the Knicks have needed for a while now and I think some people are overly excited over him just because he's a legit 7ftr and that has not been there in recent years.

I like Douglas, and I like other players...but this team as it looks now caps out at what, 39, 40 wins?

I'd rather be optimistic about Gallo and AR, but they've looked terrible.

I do think we can sneak in the playoffs, but won't be surprised at all if we miss.

i think we will ride amare's coattails to the 8th spot. maaaaybe 7th

the only reason i can see us not getting in is rebounding. which is obviously very significant. at the very least we have something worth watching this year

After the season it does, but during the season they would still be shelling out 10 mill or w/e the difference will be, to have a glass-man in a suit sit behind or at the end of the bench. And teams, such as the Nuggets, are not so interested in this. Especially when they know the new CBA/lockout is coming.

thinking expiring contracts just disappear.

Plus I can't think of any young/cheap talent that is really available for trade.

Edit: I guess Prince or Rip Hamilton would be a nice little pick up...... Highly doubt the Bucks would wanna take on the length of Rip's contract but it'd be neat nonetheless.

It's not just about this upcoming season when dealing with expiring contracts...

Can't wait!

Small market teams like the Kings can trade for expirings (K9! Woof!), but no one wants to sign with the Kings the following summer even with that cap space. Oh wells.
