Tyreke Evans Suspended for the Season Opener...

The NBA has just announced

Tyreke Evans will be suspended for the first game of the season due to his guilty plea in that dangerous reckless driving case. The Kings open at Minnesota on October 27. Since the NBA acted, there should be no further punishment from the Kings.

Webster underwent surgery to repair a herniated disc in his back and will miss four to six weeks, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

I know everyone thinks this is the worst team in the league but I'm kind of excited to watch them this year, lot of young dudes on this team.

It's now or never for my guy Beas though, he has to show something this year I really hope he doesohwell.

Dude who works for the Wolves comes into my office last week tryin to sell tickets. Here was what their current promotion was:

10 game pack and you can pick any 10 games you want as long as it's not Heat or Lakers. Each ticket is lower level (face value was $40) and the entire package was being offered for $29.  Yes friends that is $400 worth of tickets, choose your own games............... for $29 laugh

Pumped for the opener pimp  I been so used to Wolves losing that 30-35 wins would be like making the playoffs. Don't think it's gonna happen this year though with our youth. There is young....and then there is this Wolves team which quite possibly is the youngest team collectively age-wise in NBA history.

With that said it should be more fun to watch than last year. Love has a chance to lead the league in boards. Beas has a chance to average 20 PPG. We have a chance of actually seeing some outside shots being made. And lastly we know we likely will get another shot at lottery success next summer plus add Rubio. Let's roll.

Is the starting lineup for Wednesday's opener.

It's interesting that Corey Brewer's improvement and experience playing SG last season didn't give him a shot at the starting spot out of the gate. However, Wayne Ellington was playing real well in the preseason, so maybe he deserves a shot to show what he has in his arsenal. We already know he can be the scoring spark plug off the bench, come in and hit 3s, etc. Can he be more than that, though?

Yeah I'm wondering if that 's his reward for preseason. So that means Wes and Brewer on the wing off the bench. Those two will be good on defense together.

Tough loss.

Anthony Tolliver really came out and played. I love his hustle and the little things he contributes to the game. Lots of credit to Michael Beasley because he put up 17 & 7 and I really didn't feel like he had a good game. That's a testament to how good I think he could become on this squad. Ridnour balled. Love got his first of many double-doubles.

Francisco Garcia and Carl Landry just killed us smiley: sick

Let's take it to Milwaukee on Friday. Ridnour will be ready.
