This is awesome. It's interesting to see what topics were considered contemporary and hip in the 50s.

I guess I imagined the 50s being super conservative but some of these women are

Very interesting. I'll definately be giving these a read. Now that I think about it, the only time I would see a Jet magazine was in the barber shop. Maybe a couple of times around the house.

I read Jet growing up.use to love the beauty of the week and really the whole magazine. I remmber when the bulls won 72 Jet showed love. Awesome publication

Jet use to come to the crib in high school read through it a lil....basically the cover story at the last couple of pages, beauty of the week, and those wedding pictures.

i use to peep the wedding pictures to see if the chick was hot and what kinda jobs the couple had.

Most definitely a JET fan growing up.
My cousin's ex was actually a "Beauty Of The Week" in the mid 90's.Unfortunately I don't remember who was on the cover of that particular issue,but uhhhh...
