You don't but at the same time, you're not going to leave it looking like you've been sitting on your %%@ for the past seven years.
And why would you lie when most places do background checks and call past employers?

It's not lying to remove information such as receiving a college degree. If you worked while you were in college, you can use those job refs saying you worked right out of high school. There are many many ways to arrange your resume in order to get those meager retail/food jobs. Hell, I've done it for several friends in the past year and got them all jobs (college grads who couldn't find work).

Been looking for a little part time job after class and $$%*. Went to Party City

Me: Hi! Could I please have a job application?
Her: Sure! We're taking applications, but we're not hi-
Me: *walks out in disgust*

So what's the point of taking applications? Walked down the street to Bed Bath & Beyond and filled out an application. Turned it in, and before I could walk out the door, dude scheduled me for a 1:00 interview tomorrow

I work for the LA school district. I got my lay off letter this past week. My last day is Nov. 30th. Right before the holidays. They couldn't of picked a worse time.
