Even though my boys lost the game they won me money covering. Bittersweet to say the least...

I hope the NT $ Family did ok yesterday.

Good thing to see is that with all the new guys in the thread hopefully it won't die now that football is over. NHL and bball still going we can keep this thread up!

What's the plays for tonight boys?

I just found this thread and look forward to contributing for college bball. Leaning towards Virginia for now.
 
Yup and that's what makes this 49ers/Seaheawks match up is so intriguing. The Niners are a very publicly betted team and I can imagine that +3/+3.5 looks life a gift to them right now... Are Niners backers actually gonna be able to stay off this game? On the flipside the Seahwaks are damn near unbeatable at home and everyone knows this... -3/-3.5 is dumb low for this team with their home field advantage. If youve been watching football at all this season how do you not pound that line?

So far at my local the money is in early on the Seahawks. Opened at -3 and is currently -3.5. There will def. be an opportunity for a middle here. IMHO I think there is just too much value at Seahwaks -3/-3.5 and this is coming from a 9ers fan.

I can honestly see the action end up being very close to 50/50 and the books are perfectly fine with taking the -10 juice payout.


SIDENOTE:

I'm from San Francisco and I root for all the bay area teams... But I am quick to bet against them if there is value to a line.

Anyone else in here do this as well???

yeah debut for their new coach so not a bad idea. the coyotes are trending down a bit IMO. i'd like to see them string together some good performances before taking a shot on em on the road. mike smith in net for them though so that's always a plus.

if inter loses/ties im gonna be so pissed. theyve had so many good opportunities so far and KEEP blowing it.

yeah tie is a loss. villareal and arsenal are taking care of business so far though. inter has about 12 minutes to get the W. theyve been in the attacking third almost the whole second half just havent finished
 
NBA ... Knicks -4.5 .. been playing better and Suns on a huge road trip
NCAA BB Iowa St. -2 @ home. Great team @ home versus shaky Kansas on road. Place will be crazy. Surprised it isn't more like -6. Kansas getting a lotta name credit here IMO
NCAA BB - UVA @ Duke +6.5. Duke won't wanna play at UVA pace. If they hang with them UVA could upset here. Not likely but possible. How did Duke lose @ clemson.

I'm waiting on this one. Right now, I think the 3.5 points the Niners are being given is a good value, but I need to sit on this for a bit.

Seattle has had troubles on offense of late, but their defense may set them up with good field position. Regardless, the defenses will come to play and it's hard for me to see any team really pulling away.

Completely agree. I mean, the Seahawks D was stout most of the game vs. Saints and it still was closer than one would have expected given their performance. 49ers D is every bit as good and they will run better than the saints versus the Seahawks D. Probably the best O line in football for SF. I would heavily lean SF anything over +3 as well as Pats +6 or more. Pats will torch Broncos secondary with Brady and whoever they want.

U can get inside info from ppl at the club...I remember ben baller last yr was talkin bout westbrook and durant out in LA clubs partyin like it's 1999 on a sat nt and played the lakers the next day...a sun afternoon gm...the putrid shooting by kd/russ attributed to a laker W. On his IG? He was swearing up and down LA was gonna win...he was right...lol.
