Locked in GS -5 & Ducks ML. Thinking about the pacers too but LA has been playing hard which makes me think Indy wins by ~4-6 points

indy hasn't looked very good this last couple of games.
lost to the suns 124-100
got taken to OT by the demarcus cousins/rudy gay-LESS kings, won by 5. losing most of the game though.
then lost to the nuggets 109-96.

I'm taking MSU +6 and Pacers -9.5 tonight. Iowa hasn't lost at home all year, but no way MSU is going in there and getting beat like that after losing to michigan at home. Will also sprinkle a little on the MSU ML.

Pacers need a bounce back game and LA will be just that. Plus they've had three days rest.

My two plays for tonight:

1. SJU +12.5. Yes it's away and yes McDermott and Wragge can get hot for Creighton from deep, but the Red Storm have played high level opposition tough. Cuse and Nova. Harrison is liable to go off for 30 any night, Sampson went off last game with his best performance of the season perhaps, and Jordan is due to fulfill some of the hype he received in HS and entering SJU.

2. MSU +6. The key to this game is transition defense for Sparty. Dawson will be missed for a while but MSU has to get over that. Buy into Izzo's gameplan. I look for Valentine to step up. Adreian Payne is doubtful which probably affects the line significantly. Marble leads the way for the Hawkeyes and White is crucial getting to the hole. McCabe and Uthoff valuable contributors. If Sparty loses, I see it by 5.

Teaser for tomorrow:

1. Kansas ML. 20U. Jayhawks won at ISU on January 13th. Allen Fieldhouse is a fortress, Self rarely loses at home. Ender and Embiid hitting their stride. The key is PG play from Tharpe and Mason. DeAndre Kane eats regularly, matchup nightmare for most guards. Ejim is a force as well as Niang. I love Mayor as a HC but Kansas wins this game no matter what.

2. Stanford with the points. Waiting on the line.

Any of you guys playing first touchdown of the Superbowl?  I didnt bet on last year's SB (for obvious reasons), but aside from that break, I have hit the first touchdown three years in a row.  Curious if you guys ever bet this, and if you do, who is your pick this year?

Denver. Seattle always starts slow and Peyton is usually a general on his first drives, marching right down for scores.
