NBA Returns on Tuesday :pimp:

Can't wait....

Edit: the worst ats team in the NBA will probably cover at least 30 games. Best thing to do is ride a team that's hot or cold because streaks def happen. Same with ov/un ...usually there's a team early in the season that books struggle to adjust to...wanna say philly and Phoenix were those teams early last year

400

wanted to take the ******** +10.5 last night, but wasn't completely confident about it. checked the props and they had "no team will score 3 straight times" at +220. in my head i'm thinking, they got the line backwards, but i guess vegas was thinking the cowboys would blow the ******** out and maybe the skins would score some meaningless td's at the end to make it a little closer. put $200 on it and won easily.

i usually never do props so i'm not sure what that line usually looks like, but glad i took it yesterday. also, "game ends in a tie" was at +30,000 lol. put $10 on it for the hell of it and was pretty excited when the game went into OT. if the cowboys could have just kicked a FG on their last drive, the game would have been tied with only a few minutes left in OT and i would have been going crazy.

NBA Tonight:

Spurs/Mavs over 203
Rockets -6

I'm expecting a lot of 3's in the Spurs/Mavs game. I believe 7 of the last 10 matchups have went over as well.

In the Rockets/Lakers game, I just can't see the Lakers staying close. The fact that their defense is weak and they don't take enough 3's, they will struggle to keep up and I think this game ends in an easy win for the Rockets. Something like 122-99. I also don't think Kobe is going to have a good night and it will take him a little time to get back adjusted to the game.

Opening a bovada account this week. Wanna start making some extra cash (hopefully).

wanna make mostly safe bets with a few little risks that add up to profits slowly.

Any tips for a rookie?

NBA:

I like the Mavs tonight against SA, no Kawhi, no Splitter. Both teams are looking to push offensively, over 204 total points.

Houston -6 Lakers. Nobody on Lakers can stop or even slow down Dwight. Houston going to shoot a lot of 3s, Lakers going to shoot lot of 2s.

I know gambling is gambling everything is a risk. Bad choice of words

I just meant I'm looking for slow profits. Not tryna put my entire life savings on the line in one week for a big jackpot.

By safe I meant little steady bets week by week. Nothing life changing.
My biggest pieces of advice for you as a first time sports better:
  • MONEY MANAGEMENT!!  Bet what you can afford to lose.  When placing your bets, assume you will lose ALL of them.  And if you cant imagine losing every bet you make that day, dont bet them.
  • Stay away from parlays.  Sure they are fun and have a huge payoff if you win, but they are so difficult to win.  Do straight bets.
Good luck bro.  Kill the book!

no such thing as being safe. you either like something or you don't

well that's easy....manage your bankroll properly and stay the hell away from parlays.

^what they said. avoid parlays like the plague. i would say its probably better to win no parlays than 1 because that's how you get hooked

parlays will be the death of you. **** looks good because your odds looks so juiced, but you never consider the odds of actually hitting it. easiest way to slowly kill your bankroll. seen people try to recover their bankroll by parlaying. you just giving away money at that point. do your research, find games that you like, bet confidently. winning at -110 isn't as glamorous as winning at +500, but be smart.

i'm thinking houston/LA over 207.

last years game totals went:
197
212
242
275

rockets ideally have their way, and every rocket reserve basically shoots a ton of 3s

what do y'all think about warriors - 4.5 at the Kings

I was looking at that too, but David Lee suppose to be out tonight. They should still be able to manage, but its down to -3.5 now. I was thinking about buying a half point and making it -3.
