It is a "unit" based on whatever YOUR comfortable bet is.

If I have a huge bankroll to play with and I bet $1000 on every game as my average bet, then a unit to me is $1000.

If I'm betting $50 per game as an average bet, then $50 is a unit to me.

It just gives a 1:1 comparison between bettors to gauge confidence in a bet instead of talking only dollars where the amount can vary greatly.

I have Colorado State -6 and under 46.5 for the Miss. State/Bama game left.

  LA Tech vs. New Mexico State). Nice little surprise. No upsets tomorrow from the Rams or Jaguars and all shall be well. Really leaning towards the Giants too. Is it a TARP? Anyone taking Cowboys (+2.5) at home?
