***$$$-NT Sportsbook Thread vol.2- Props props props props props props... EVERYBODY!

^ i was SO close to taking the bears this weekend, but pulled out right before submitting. glad i did

So Sportsbook is loading for me but it still won't let me load the depost/withdraw pages or add items to my ticket... This is burnt. All my planned bets will probably hit too. SMFH.

joe flacco cost me today....aint even mad about it though. #2 seed in the AFC right now :pimp:

Bryce Brown possibly just blew my potential to win a lot of money. I need the Eagles to score.

Yeah...I started betting $20 a pop, but that kind of grew into $100 being one unit and then if I really like the odds doing something crazy like that above. :smh:

*shrugs*

this was my first season. i've been sticking to 10 or 20 depending on how crazy my parlays have been. i started with $100 or $150 deposit, can't remember. have that up to about $700 this year. maybe next year i'll take more risks

I started like 8 years ago, so it took me awhile to build up to this man. I just enjoy it so much so it kept progressing.

Some people get sick of it and just stop or those that have patience and can just do it "for fun." I started out as fun, but then turned it kind of serious when I realized I could help my bank account.

If you don't mind me asking Paul, do you go by experts and/or services, or just your own analysis, I follow your plays on here and enjoy your posts.

Thanks, man.

I would say 85% of my plays are my own analysis. I definitely keep my mind open to anyone's POV on a game or team, but I've found following your own gut, especially if you know your stuff, is the best way to go.

I definitely don't pay for a service (thought about it, but nothing is guaranteed and I feel more comfortable losing with my gut), but I do frequent therx.com. Some people that post in there are really good and provide great insight, but as with most sites, it's hard to find quality insight instead of just plays. I take into account someone like Colin Cowherd as well. He's pretty damn good at betting. There would be more, but not too many people are open with talking publicly about the why's of their plays or if they even play at all.

You'll find your "go-to" sources, if you will, just to get that other perspective, but I only do it to reinforce my picks. After you do it for awhile you accumulate enough knowledge to know how the betting world works and you just go from there.

That's kind of a rambling synopsis of your question crammed into a few paragraphs so hopefully that helps.

Damn Paul, sounds like me and you live eerily similar lives. I also started about 8-9 years ago.

Everyone starts small, then you get to the point where having 50-100 on a game feels like a waste of time  (yet at times :frown: )

QFT,

Prefer CappingTheGame.com > TheRX...both are much better than Covers though
