My good friend Lester over at West NYC worked w/ Nike to come up w/ a collab for the NY Marathon next Sunday there'll b an event there next week where 26 pairs of these Air Max's will b raffled off that Sunday i think they came out pretty dope....


"Since marathon season is here, WEST NYC felt it appropriate to partner with Nike on a fall running package. Owner Lester Wasserman wanted to create a series of shoes were inspired by the fall colors of New York City's Central Park. The Nike Air Max 1 was chosen to pay homage to a classic, while the Lunar Glide 2 represents state of the art innovation and technology that only Nike can bring to the market.

26 pairs will be raffled off on Sunday November 7th, 2010, while 10 pairs will be given to friends and family......."

All in all. this is a nice pack. I sure wish I could get my hands on that PURPLE/GREY am1.

got a chance to peep the samples and they look spectacular in person they did a really nice job in designing them too the apparel came out nice too

i was able to snap a pic of the men's the women's purple AM1 is my personal fav

due to the short timing and coordination for the NYC Marathon, Nike gave WEST iD's & Apparel this year which is more than anyone can ask for...now for next year w/ more timing the pack will be more along the lines as true exclusive collab down to the store's logo, and everything.

Y'all can talk about anyone being able to make these iD's or that the pack is trash, but try getting Nike to pay for all these pairs and the apparel made on short notice!..waits for it...waits for it

What they're doing is a step towards bringing the store's customers the best product possible in which i belive they did, and that's why i continue to show loyalty and support to my local neighborhood shop that does things right...i don't see any other boutiques around NYC doin the same
