So underrated man always been my favorite rapper

I'm happy for Malice. I'm not into religion but thru his rhymes the remorse of selling poison to his community and glorifying it was always evident.

There reaches a point when one decides enough is enough and realizes the power they have to spread a positive message.

You gotta understand malice went through something deeper than just seeing his lyrics was bad. Dude was out there cheating on his wife and having multiple relationships and what not

I respect No Malice and Pusha's views on the situation.

Malice always sounded remorseful in his raps to begin with so when he turned that corner it didn't really surprise me. Even though he's one of my favorite rappers ever, who he is as a man and for his family is more important than his art. He was actually man enough to even realize that he was losing himself in the materialism and hedonism of the rap world and for that I can do nothing but respect that man because its easier to self destruct.

Push on the other hand, he understands the implications behind his words and the street **** that he raps about. He's seen his whole crew get locked up by the Feds but he knows that the problems that exist in the black community came long before hip hop. Like he said, he grew up hearing the same message in the music but it wasn't what pushed him to get involved in that life. Even though with his talent I do wish that he would expound on the harsh realities a bit more, I get where he's coming from. He's a genius writer, he's as good a rapper as Francis Ford Coppola is a director and I look at their work in the same fashion. It's just always going to be different with hip hop because the origins and the connection it will always have to the black community.

Listened to My Name Is My Name again, this album is not good, its great. Didnt hit me when it first dropped but man.
Yeah im the same way. My biggest mistake was listening to these critically acclaimed reviews it got before i listened to it myself. I think i expected too much. Thought it was overrated. 6 months later im really feeling it.

That CNN vid shows exactly what makes them great as a team. Both are pretty much opposites yet you can understand their motives for how they are.
