I'll respectfully disagree.  I recently looked at and tried on a pair of the new Adidas revolution authentic shorts and IMO, these are the best that there have ever been quality, feel and fit-wise.  I still think they are overpriced for a pair of shorts but they are top notch.

Go to modells.com (a division of Sports Authority).  They have authentic NBA shorts (only current season).
...better yet, sign up for a modells account and wait for the coupons to roll in.

Four times a year, they have a 40% off coupon.  This is usually when I scoop up my pairs.

This just shows that some people don't know what they are talking about. It just that they are bias towards Nike and don't want to admit it.

This just shows that some people don't know what they are talking about. It just that they are bias towards Nike and don't want to admit it. 
 
Obviously cats are biased towards Nike cuz they make the nicest sneakers and have the best overall aesthetic – but the era that they (and Champion before them) made jerseys and shorts was a quality period, with more mesh vs. DRI-FIT and durasheen (those shiny Ma$e/Puffy-esque joints)...

After Champion lost their monopoly on League gear, we had a bunch of different outfitters for different teams. I believe Nike had: Chicago, Boston, Portland, Lakers, and the Raptors. I may be missing some... Personally, the Nike Bulls, Portland and Lakers (prior to the new-skool DRI-FIT era) shorts are the best of all time...
