La Bomba balled tonight. When he plays 30+ min. he averages 19.3ppg. Are you reading this Grizzlies coach???

Spain is on the map fo sho! They ain't ready for the inquisition!

Next to shine: Spanish Chocolate

spanish players are the most underrated group of foreign players in the league no doubt

they've obscured european powerhouses like croatia and serbia by just going out there and playing hard all under the radar of most mainsteam press

people in this country are starting to take notice. nike has already taken note

the work ethic and skills are what any nba team would want

coming to conquer america, again.

carlos navarro
sergio rodriguez
jose calderon
jose garbajosa

Pau Gasol was sick last year, his numbers were amazing considering the amount of minutes he played and the fact that he had to come back from an injury.

Calderon is a classic textbook point guards, great decisions on the floor, his assist to turnover ratio is amazing. And I agree, Navarro needs to get moreminutes.

Anyway, this guy Rudy Fernandez was really fun to watch in the European championships, I hope he makes the NBA one day..

I'm hoping for Navarro to blow up so hopefully the league will produce some jerseys for him... don't really want to customize just to get one.

(We share the same last name.)

All the Argentines in the NBA can make a damn team..

Manu
Hermann
Delfino
Nocioni
Oberto
Scola

I watched Navarro @ the Worlds.. he is amazing.

^ I've been preaching the Raptors to trade away Ford for a good bigman or a good swing player, and let Calderon run the point.

Rudy Fernandez will be joining Portland next year as well, FYI. Check out some of his youtube videos . . amazing fast break player.

smh@dude saying conquer America again. smh@glorifying genocidal maniacs and rapist, but that's for another thread. Anyway, them Spanish ballers areoverrated. All these Euro players are overrated. They're one dimensional in one aspect or another.

I agree on all aspects.

Ignorance at its finest. Pau Gasol is one of the most multi-dimensional players in the league. As was Kirilenko 2-3 years ago. European players learnfundamentals and have far from a one-dimensional basketball upbringing. They are taught to shoot and pass even though they might be big men. See Divac andSabonis, arguably two of the best passing big men ever in the league.

Good stuff right there, both dudes are and were amazing, and it's funny how they both were slugs at the end of their career (literally walking up and downcourt

).

You could go down the line and name tons of good international players in the L right now. Whether they be role players, starters, all-stars or superstars.Udrih, Delfino, Calderon, Bargs, Okur, AK47, TP, Manu, Oberto, Nash, Barbosa, Turkoglu, Peja, Krstic, Yi Jianlian, Juan Carlos Navarro, Pau Gasol, DarkoMilicic, Sasha the Machine, Vlad, Yao, Biedrins, DJ MBenga (comical relief in my list), Nene, Dirk (WOO HOMER-STATUS!), Sasha Pavlovovivovic, Nochioni, Thabo,Leon Powe (not really, just wanting to give a plug to that dude

Why would they do that if they already traded Charlie V just to get Ford? Colangelo obviously has a plan and it doesn't hurt to have depth at PG. Lookat the Suns with Nash/Leandro.

Leandro a PG? You must not watch many Suns games.. The dude couldn't play PG if someone kidnapped his entire family, put a gun to their heads, put him in a lineup with prime Jordan, Bird, Barkley & Hakeem, handed him a basketball and told him "Okay, now run this offense or your familydies." He would probably shoot a semi-contested 3-pointer with 15 left on the shot clock during the first possession.

as a grizzlies fan, gasol is unappreciated. he's so soft, he needs to be dealt or take a backseat to the greatness that is rudy gay.

jcn is semi appreciated, but him and pau are annoying.

I LOVE the Spanish PGs
