EDIT-OK, I read a bit more. Mind you, it was your mans using the term "no identity" that set this off. That is what I actually took issue with.....

I'm going to point you in the direction of a song by a rapper names Biggie Smalls/Notorious B.I.G. called "What's Beef".

I have no beef with this dude. But if dude says some **** I find lame, acts like a lame, then I'ma call it like I see it.

True enough, but there there's a difference between being a complete clone and being influenced by something/someone. The same dudes talking this everybody is influenced stuff are the same cats that are literally head to toe in whatever Ye' is wearing the previous day. Influence can either be tastefully done, and or it can be carbon copied i.e. proto. Huge difference.

there are some things he's done i have integrated tho, as has a TON of people, including his fellow rappers and celebs... and i like most of the shoes he's designed... but i didn't even listen to a full album of his until "twisted dark fantasy", and i'm not really a big fan of everything he's done or what he wears...

what? i mean, i played his radio singles at club gigs, but when kanye came out and years after i was way more into jungle/d&b music and other styles of music... i gave up on most rap after the 90's, as far as listening to whole albums (until recent years, and even still, they're few and far between)...

25thhour, you don't know what you're talking about, but that's ok... i have a very diverse style and collection of shoes and clothes that have nothing to do with any rapper, and i've ignored plenty of kanye's styles (for instance, i think givenchy is ugly, and wouldn't wear leather pants, and a ton of other stuff... plus, i've done a lot of stuff b4 he did it, like waxed denim, shirts around the waist, denim jackets, and i've proven it)... go check out a dude named brandon sales if you wanna see an actual kanye clone... he doesn't discriminate, he buys EXACTLY everything he sees on kanye, while cats like me have just integrated things here and there...

and it's cool, dubl, just make sure you delete other people's blocks of text too, chief. :wink:
