Aight man..

He realized he paid almost a grand for ******** and dude got over on him. Probably tossed them out when he got the chance.

Why did 'Bron even bother paying for that trash? He can request 1 of 1s whenever he likes for free and his exclusive stuff is leagues ahead of that whack custom X. Besides did he have any creative input? Based on his reaction that junk was not what he was expecting.

You really don't know what you're talking about...
He may be referring to how Nigo didn't let Ye release Pastelle under a bape umbrella or something.
to the dude who that the so so def x bape was fake......

it's real.
Word? My bad.
But damn, So So Def got a collabo but they wouldn't give Kanye one?

Lmao they def gave Kanye his own shoe and I think a hoodie....

As for the Bape X SO SO Def. I was always sure it was real. JD probably rocks more BAPE than any celeb I know (he may possibly wear more than Pharell). Dude has been wearing those Bape X So So Def tees since like 05 if I'm not mistaken. I don't know how the connection was made with him and Nigo but I'm sure they are GOOD

Yep I was referring to how Ye wanted to do a whole line under Bape, not just a colorway of Bapestas

i would link but am on mobile just Google the interviews where Kanye talks about his DW collection and he talks about cancelling Pastelle completely bc of mtv incident

Probably got hype off of the stuff posted on the blogs. With all of the photo manipulation Mache does with his images, anything can look good. Appears that he didn't have any creative input except that he wanted an Iron Man based Lebron. Like the rest of his X customs, his spray painted the upper with different colors and shades and called it a day.

The video doesn't display his entire reaction which was at the request of LBJ's reps (We literally had to edit the video 3 times) because they didn't want anything before or after what we included to be used in the final version. (As you can see it starts rolling after he has the box in his hand, there was a few minutes of conversation before that moment and more after the photo). If it was anyone else but LeBron I would have ignored the request but LeBron is not the dude you want not liking your site if you're in the sneaker business.

In terms of him paying Mache he had Nike supply the base model and whatever Mache charged for the work is pennys to him but even then Im positive Mache gave him a generous fee.

We were originally set to shoot 10-15 minutes at his hotel room but it all changed last minute and he only had time to meet up before he left to the All-Star Game (if you noticed that's the suit he wore to the game). Obviously he was in game mode and not in a chill setting which explains his laid back demeanor.

If he didn't like the work he wouldn't have shouted Mache out on both Instagram and Twitter.

No you wouldn't have. If a rep asks you not to do something, you honor it off of the principle and for litigious reasons which could follow if the client feels that if their image was misappropriated.

True but at the same time its on them to prep for what they're getting into. I won't lie I've had multiple situations where I was asked to not include something in a video and I have respected it but its give and take. Once you sit down and shoot the interview we hold full control of what we want to put out. Depending on the severity of what the request is then I have no problem honoring it whether its a title change or taking out a particular sentence from an answer.

i mean, don't they sign release forms or something? cuz once they do, it's all up to you, right?

I hear you man, not a fan of extensive photoshopping and filters or those Xs.
