It's not hard to remember anything you are compelled to remember. What you remember is a reflection of what you care about.

For me, that's impossible to remember. Frankly, though I may have visited this page during the time, I don't remember/know that the BET Awards is even a thing that exists, period.

If you're a big fan, then you remember that stuff. That's cool. Own it.

I remember all kinds of minutiae about things I'm fanatical about. But, don't act like anybody should know these things.

U know i take it back. That fit looks okay in that last pic...the hat, the shades, the watch,
Maybe it WAS the shoes lol.

He look like a cuban kingpin.

pretty much but who said anything about people should know these things....you sound more bothered by it than I do....I just enjoyed the sneakers.

maybe its having a good memory...like when nate robinson wore them against the spurs.

Even remembering a moment gilbert arenas rocking some heat a specific game....

its not that serious.

I had the 1's and sold them. Never tried on the 2's. I think the 2's are hideous. That back piece with the snakeskin. The ridges along the back. I don't even like the silhouette of the forefoot. Nothing about that sneaker is clean to me.

I get what Proto is saying about the 1's having a "moon boot" kind of cut, but some sneakers work with that look. And I don't even like the 1's that much.

It's just interesting to me that the sneakers and shoes he wears are so much cleaner than the ones he designs. Look at the Arenas. No straps or hoopla. Just a nice clean sneaker. Wheat Timbs, the J's he wears etc.

I don't know....I 've just never been the type to care more about the designer than the design. And there's a whole lot of that lately (at least in my sphere. I know people have worn wild looking high end designer ****)....
