Fine, everyone who makes kissy faces in hyped gear while posing and instagramming their belt buckle are just real men, extra secure sexually and just doing their thing.
They are not looking for props they are actually just expressing their personalities thru fashion.

I dont want to sound like lord jamar anymore so I here by declare that no action in the universe is suss because the person may just be " doin there thing"

Knew I'd see an on point BIP response, the best sense maker on this subject.

This dude really wrote all that and tried to imply I was "trying to clown people for holding onto masculinity"...

Nah yo, was just saying this site is full of a bunch of homophobic lames constantly trying to call someone out for being suspect (and implying leaning in to take a pic with your homie is suspect is a perfect, hilarious example of it). It's pathetic. And 50 years from now will be looked at with disgust just like civil rights crimes 50 years ago. Both are hatred of someone for being different, period. Lemme guess, you're one of those people who think gay people choose to be gay, right?

You tried to turn that into this whole vendetta against people who take outfit pix. The other day you tried to imply that the Jordan fit battle should only be sneaker shots from the ankle down. It's a freaking outfit battle, not just shoes. Cuz anyone can buy rare shoes, but not everyone can dress with them and make em really look dope.

Not everyone is just into shoes and that's it. Some of us are into fashion, and like to discuss, share, and get inspiration for it. Doesn't make anyone suspect. It seems to be working for me with ladies actually, cuz I regularly have hot women stop me to tell me I'm one of the few guys who know how to dress in my town.

Just cuz a man ain't super struggling like it sounds like you are, doesn't make him less of a man. Stop judging books by their cover. You're just full of these ignorant, hateful, broad generalizations aren't ya, lil fella? I've been thru plenty of struggle in my life. And was raised mostly by my dad, btw (but really raised myself and my brother myself in a lot of ways, and moved out on my own when I was 15, had my share of "struggle")...

Said it b4, I'm not gay, but if I were, I'm certainly not the type to ever deny who I really am for someone else's sake.

This site is about collecting shoes, a habit called feminine by lots of over masculine people (masculine to the point of ignorance)... So what are you even really talking about here? Why are you even on here, mr. tuff guy? Now hurry and go in the WDYWT thread and tell everyone how suspect they are for posting outfit pix. So far the only posts I've seen you contribute have been about this subject of trying to be super masculine. Are you just on NT to fulfill some void, to push your agenda, and have people to preach to about how you think the right way to live is, from behind your keyboard?

The irony is, for you to even be on this forum, to care this much how other men dress, what kinda pix they take, judging men's outfits, it's suspect in and of itself.

It's types like you who are usually the ones who come out later in life... Like that dad in the film "a beautiful mind" who hated gays so much... And turned out he was gay...

Lol. That's right. Dodge it by leaning on the "typing too much" cop out. The reality is the totality of your last couple posts b4 mine is longer than what I just wrote... And it's all about what other men wear...

You went off the deep end, but we get it, you're a tuff guy, so why ya on NT preaching this stuff? To a forum full of sus sneaker collectors, a feminine hobby? You on here viewing and judging other men's outfits... You feminine too for even being on here, dog...

Now run along and do tuff guy stuff. Go work in a coal mine and surround yourself with other tuff guys, and let people live how they wanna live...

Go work in a coal mine ..

The funny thing about all of this is that it still implies that being gay is an insult, or something of which you should be ashamed. As Proto said, those comments are no different than people who tried to call black people out for attempting to "pass" so they could discriminate against them. ...Let's just imagine that your favorite rapper was gay. So what? Why does anybody care? Why even make the point of noting it? Do you feel the need to look at other pictures and say, "Gee, RZA looks exceptionally hetero in that shot!" So, keep thinking you are defending (the arbitrary, purely socially derived) concept of masculinity - in reality, you are simply swimming against the tide of progress, history, and enlightenment.

^ great points.

this dude is obviously mad homophobic and seems to speak as if everyone here is like him, and it's generally accepted that being called sus or gay is ok.

"we kinda believe you are straight", as if being gay is an insult.

he said "alternative life choice sympathizers", so it's obvious he thinks it's some sort of choice, and if you aren't a homophobic dude like him, you're a "sympathizer"...

sounds eerily like some crap KKK cats would prolly say, like "negro sympathizer"... :smh:

i think as straight men, some of us might have been homophobic in some ways in our lives, especially when we were younger... but there comes a time when you grow up and realize it really is the same thing as hating someone for the color of their skin. you're hating someone for simply how they were born, but they didn't have a choice to be black or white, nor did they have a choice to be straight or gay (i have friends who are gay and i can assure you, it's not a choice for them, so do they deserve to be treated like less of a human being cuz of how they were born?)...

thinking about the mindset those racists had 50 years ago, how hateful they were to someone who couldn't help what color they were born as, it doesn't make logical sense... it's some sort of strange, deep down insecurity in themselves, and the hate makes them feel better or something...

the same applies here. why you care that much about another person's god given sexual orientation says more about you than it does about them.

if being into clothes and shoes means i'm not manly, then i dunno... it's whatever... but i guess this whole forum isn't "manly"... contrary to what he said, that "coordinating an outfit shows a lack of character", i feel the absolute opposite. whether you're throwing together a dapper suit, or a simple pair of jeans, shirt, and sneaks, it just shows you care how you look, you have style, as a result of your character, that reflects your taste, and ironically, most women seem to love that about a man (very few prefer some bum lookin' dude who doesn't know how to put together a clean, decent outfit)...

this guy has a SUCH a small minded, narrow view tho... the way men dress has changed so much the last couple hundred years... from feminine looks like the founding fathers of this country had, to the dapper styles of the 1920's - 40's, to the feminine styles cats like jimi hendrix wore in the 60's, and on and on. i mean, hell, prince dresses mad feminine, and he prolly loves vagina more than all of us put together.

i think this guy thinks because he grew up seeing "real men" dress like the block huggers in the early 90's, that that's the way a man is supposed to look...

the closed-mindedness of NT never ceases to amaze me... :smh:

We've seen the damn home alone pic as many times as we've had this discussion, so what are you bringing to the table that's new?

...You still want that pair of '01 white, carolina highs you asked me about like a year ago, but told me you needed time to pay the whopping $80?
