This guy is anti-'famous brand' now based on some of his recent interviews. Hence the shift to some 'lesser' brands. That said RL polos (Classic, Custom, etc..) haven't been the best quality for some time now and the MSRP is almost $100.
Myself being a working stiff, if it came down to pricing and just needing a shirt for one summer - I'd be hard pressed to pass up the USPA joint if it could be had on clearance for $20.
