at first i thought it was dumb too but maybe it's referencing how white people think blacks all look the same like how people mistake samuel L jackson for lawrence fishburne or morgan freeman for nelson mandela or bill russelli don't get the t-shirt?
but then again, it wouldn't work because michael jackson is one of the most well-known figures in the world in his various forms, plus he and prince are both light pigmented
