I actually feel the same way and I'm black as well. She's definitely pretty but I like women who don't wear tons of makeup, have big weaves, wigs, etc.

I always compare my taste to Common. He's had Erykah Badu, Keri Washington, Taraji P Henson, Serena, etc. Women who seem down to Earth.

Trust me, I've heard it all from my homies though when I say she doesn't do it for me like that... :lol:

Beyonce is a beautiful woman but I do understand when others say she just doesn't do it for them. I feel that way about a lot of women that others obsess over. At the end of the day it all comes down to preferences.
 
People always think I'm trippin when I say I'd take Meagan Goode or Keri Hilson over Beyonce. I'm used to it now... :\
 
back in the Destiny's Child days i thought she was sooo fine, granted i was in middle school, but now she does nothing for me like others have said. That rumor that she got the dragon didnt help either. Plus i used to mess with DC music somewhat, now i hate everything she puts out solo. To each his own tho, i can see how others sweat her so much
