Your sleeper playoff team in the N.F.L?

Come on now D.W.A.I., how you gonna throw that stat out like that? That stat is definitely in favor of your argument, percentage wise.

Of course Norv has a better winning percentage. He's only been there once as a head coach and won one game as a head coach. I'll take Marty's appearances in the playoffs over that. At least he took the browns to the AFC Championship twice.
that's why i put the "

" at the end.

at 1-1 obviously he'll have a better winning percentage than 5-16 or whatever it is that marty has.

i should put a [/sarcasm] tag somewhere.

Norv Turner is dookie but it was ether them or the Jags and the Jags have show tendencies to be mentally weak.

I really like Minnesota, playoff success = running the ball and stopping the run, which they are the best at in the league.

i don't see what's so wrong with it. he had rough tenures in washington and oakland, but none of those teams are near what he has right now insan diego.

he has the team in the playoffs in his first year as head coach of the chargers and potentially getting the #3 seed by season's end. no way would the boltsbe able to get the #1 or #2 with the way the pats and colts have played this season, so that's understandable.

his coaching history speaks volumes, no doubt, but after starting 1-3 he has the team at 9-5 now [6-2 since the horrible start]. some people can cite theplaycalling, but the playcalling has been good as of late [i.e. getting LT the damn ball]. this season overall, rivers' play has been worse than norv'scoaching if you ask me. hell, if anything, ted cottrell was more of a reason the team was struggling coming out of the gate than norv was..

Chargers have underachieved this year and I dont think it is a coincidence that Turner is head coach.

LOL.
I knew you were being sarcastic. I just had to jump on that. Because it is true that Norv does have a better winning percentage in the playoffs thanMarty. Good one though. Only to be fair to Norv.

It's true.Norv does have the Chargers in the playoffs and possibly at a 3rd seed. As far as Rivers goes, he should play better especially since Norv issuppose to be a Quarterback's coach. But since the Chargers have been pass heavy most of this season, it's been nothing but regression for PhillipRivers. The Chargers have beaten teams they are suppose to beat. I'm going to leave out the Colts because the Colts beat themselves in that game. Thisseason the Chargers have shown that they can destroy weak teams and not show up against teams that are actually good. This is playoff time. The Chargers havepotential to do well in the playoffs. But for now, it's the playoffs and they need to show that they can fair well against solid teams because theyhaven't done that during the regular season, and NO, the Colts game doesn't count. That was pure luck that we won that game and everybody knows it. TheChargers are lucky this season that the AFC West is utterly disgusting, otherwise we wouldn't have taken the AFC West division so easily giving us thewildcard. What scares me about the Chargers is you don't know what team is going to show up on Sunday. To me, they still haven't established anidentity. We don't know if Norv is going to go with LT or if he's going to go aerial with Phillip.

But whatever. GO CHARGERS!!!
