--[ TOP GEAR U.K SERIES 24 Started Mar. 6 ]--[The GRAND TOUR ]

Last week, the BBC released a statement about the current series of Top Gear, confirming that last night’s show (15th March) was to be postponed following an incident during production.

The incident in question is currently being investigated and Ken MacQuarrie, the director of BBC Scotland, has been appointed to lead this process.

We can now confirm that Top Gear will not be back in the studio this week and, as such, the episode due for broadcast this Sunday night (22nd March) will also be postponed pending the outcome of the investigation.

We will bring you more news as soon as we have it.

Honestly I think the 918 is the fastest as well. Ferrari and McClaren should be embarrassed. That car is a cool $500K less

we all saw the episode where all three of them where in american muscle and were beat by 17 year olds in modded civics. 4WD makes that much of a difference.

links to that episode? :nerd:

In all honesty Jeremy needs to do a better job controlling the antics. He has a reputation. I firmly believe they can reel in the stuff people might find offensive without sacrificing what makes this show great.

Idk what happened. But From what has been reported, Clarkson didn't have a good reason to put hands on dude. Already on thin ice, so why do that?

I don't think the show needs to be canceled over an internal problem. It's being blown out of proportion. The hosts know it, fans know it, and no1 wants this show to go away. Not even the BBC bank account.

And this show cannot exist without Clarkson. Period.

^I cant remember what exactly they were then but the trio were in the most recent Corvette ZR1, The recently brought back Challenger, and the recently brought back Charger and those kids were destroying them

are you talking about the one where they road tripped inside the USA and got burned at the drag strip?  one of the cars they raced was an Evo i think

Edit: Nevermind this is the one i was thinking of

I thought the episode where the did the drag racing... Was the Aston, Viper, and lfa...

Yah I messed up. confused the cars with a different episode set in america. But the fact that an Aston and and LFA were losing to those cars makes it even worse

They had a corvette, chally, and cts

I mixed up the cars in this episode with the cars in the episode I was talking about (the one posted)

My Evo would hang right with an LFA on the 1/4 mile. LFA's are supposed to run an 11.6 and my car ran 11.9 (with a weak launch trying not to destroy my transfer case), and there are a lot faster Evo's out there than mine, so it's really not that far fetched or surprising.

And the Aston James was driving runs a 12.5

Yeah, but they'll own you past that...

That's kinda my point tho. That the P1 and the LaFerrari shouldve had 4WD

Yeah, but they'll own you past that...

Yeah for drags. Imo drags are not the ultimate test of how good a car is.

tbh i think 1/4 drag strips are way to short for cars with like 500+ HP

Not surprised. No one thought Charlie Sheen would be fired either. Hopefully the BBC chooses the next host with more consideration than abc used for Ashton Kutcher
