--[ TOP GEAR U.K SERIES 24 Started Mar. 6 ]--[The GRAND TOUR ]

Lets assume Jezza is dropped and May & Hammond join him... they move the show to another network... then what?  Their productions are so huge that not many companies might put in that much cash... sure the returns might be worth their while, but you've also got the baggage to consider.  Hmmm.

Meanwhile, Jeremy Clarkson’s current contract and the contracts of co-presenters James May and Richard Hammond are said to expire next month.

Sounds like the end of Top Gear :smh:

Their worldwide audience is 350M. Thats almost 1 in 20 people on the planet. At worst they'll replace the hosts and it'll drop drastically. Lets say to 100M to be conservative. They'd have to build from there

New rumor is that Clarkson can come back if he admits fault and the BBC want him to go to rehab.

He has substance abuse issues? I mean I don't know how sending a guy with no filter to rehab will help with anything. I mean, I have 2 friends who are like that but I don't see how something like that would help them with one bit.

rehab lolwut? if he was a drug user, i feel that would've been known years ago right?

I mean, if this was caused because he was drunk then maybe they can send him to rehab for alcoholism so he can keep his job. I would say anger management would be good too.

so you are saying for appearances sake...i get it. i still think food isn't a reason to punch someone in the face. but if everyone was drunk, i think the BBC could've handled this quietly..def did not need to be the scandal it is now.

I didnt get it either. Its for alcohol. I'm sure plenty of celebs have successfully kept that a secret before. But to me anger management would've made more sense. Either way they arent going to let Jeremy go unpunished. Fact of the matter is if you start fighting people at work you deserve to lose your job.

Nah. Jeremy needed to be humbled. Regardless of what reason you punching someone. No place for that **** in any workplace. Leave that **** at home.

Can't see that happening. It's their most watched show, and generates ridiculous revenue.

For clarification, the Top Gear we know, love, and enjoy would come to an end. Richard and James refuse to film the finale without Jeremy. If Jeremy is axed, I'd imagine Richard and James move on as well. It's possible they continue Top Gear with new hosts but I'm willing to bet their viewership will drop sharply.

And considering what took place during the incident, I'm assuming they'd want him to go to rehab for alcohol abuse? Never knew Jeremy to be a drunk; or an angry drunk for that matter

lmao if jeremy leaves or if they replace all 3 of em i doubt i will ever watch it

im sure i speak for a lot of yall but im american and ive never seen one episode of american top gear

Can't be hard to find 3 new British fatsos to take over since driving skills aren't a requirement.

All the producers have to do is use the same format/style and bingo.

I wonder if the three of them will do they're own show...

And I'm not sure if BBC can still do TG without JC... I believe he owns at least part of TG...

Also... Know I want a whole brand of "what would JC do?" with Clarkson's image on it...

I would think it's because they're the 1st ones to do it like that and have been around the longest thus enabling them to gather a bigger audience. This doesn't mean the show can't be tweaked with a new cast while keeping the same style.

Is the problem really that people care more for the interaction between 3 British old men than the car reviews?
