but nah. that top gear squad developed a chemistry built since 2003. top gear will never be the same, the lulz won't be there. the specials...man if u expect to see something like the africa river nile special...a masterpiece, prepare to be disappointed.

Maybe the Beeb will "take it back to it's roots" and just make it a car-show... reviewing cars and whatnot.

The BBC had no other choice but to go this route.
Clarkson has made an unbelievable contribution the BBC and television as a whole, but no one should be above workplace (and potentially criminal) assault, especially when you're on your last warning.
I'd be surprised and disappointed if Hammond and May stay on. It wouldn't be the same. I expect (hope) the 3 to move to another broadcaster, and hopefully the experience teaches Clarkson a lesson in behaviour.

Me and my boy were talking about it today. He's like "id keep him" I said bbc as a company can't support employees punching each other. You gotta draw the line somewhere. I liked him on the show and I don't even mind his old man racism. But come on that's some diva crap.

Yo really though, the producers mess with them that much? Like they always do that on the show where they reference producers giving them this crappy hotel or food etc. maybe the producers thought it would be funny instead he got legit mad.
Really though if I'm out shooting for 10 hrs and driving and had no food at the end of the day I would be just as agitated.
Plus this is show biz, how many have seen that intern that gets smacked for not bringing the right sandwich seems common.

That's all for TV. Top Gear isn't struggling in the catering/craft department while shooting. Best believe they're not staying in cheap little motels either.

The one thing that sucks, for me in particular, is that we won't see all the recorded segments they had in store for the rest of the season. I was really looking forward the whatever special they had planned. That's all down the drain now. Oh well.
