How the hell is Nash getting more rebounds than him?

Plus getting owned by Duncan every time they meet.

Also, the team is proven to be better without him. Not hating on dude, but Nash needs a ring asap.
 
Nah they're not trading Amare. But real talk, it's disgusting that this beast can't grab a freakin rebound.
 
To be fair, he did grab an offensive rebound that saved them the game tonight..

But yeah, he should grab more rebounds, definitely..

Why can't it just be "Why doesn't Amare grow a set and rebound?"


That's what will never make him better than Yao/Dwight though.
 
Might as well trade Shawn Marion and Raja Bell for Dwight Howard, and Steve Nash and Barbosa for David West and Chris Paul, Chris Paul, David West, DwightHoward

I think the actual REBOUDNING stat line can be looked at too much.. Maybe his guy was on strong side most of hte time today, and the rebounds ended on the weakside???

Maybe his man was the only one crashing and he was just making sure to put a body on him constantly.. I'm just saying they could still do their job on theboards and not get many rebounds.
 
Rebounding is about anticipation, sacrificing your body and HEART. and if you're not willing to do all three, hard to be a prolific rebounder, unless u gotsome freakish abilities like D12

That being said...

he needs to improve his defense and offense all together. Without Nash, this guy would be Kmart
 
Maybe we should trade Steve Nash and Shawn Marion too. After all, Grant Hill had more points than both of them and that guy has had 32 ankle surgeries.

i would say yao is a subpar rebounder...most of his rebounds come to him just bc of his height, not effort/muscle.

Last year I might have, he hadn't shown much yet. The whole point is the improvement which shows he actually works on his game, improves weaknesses,shows drive. Has Stat improved anything but his dunking? Has his "D" improved? Passing skills? Ball handling? Yeah, thought so. Just becausehe's a Sun doesn't make him good. You overrate that fool too much. And before you claim that I overrate Bynum, I said in the beginning, you don'ttrade 20 year old potential, for INJURY cases with NO HEART. I'm not overrating Bynum, I'm speaking on Stat's game.

Zo in all seriousness, what's with this guys defensive game?

I dont expect anyone to guard Duncan because no one really can. But it seems Amare has some flaws in his game on that end. I read about it more and morenationally as well. I mean hell i saw him come into Minnesota last week and have Al Jefferson drop 32 and 20 on him.

I wouldnt claim to know much because I dont obviously see the guy play night in and night out so that's why I ask I guess.

PS Anyone saying they really should trade Amare needs to think about option Bs.....

Phoenix's biggest problem seems to be dumping K Thomas, IMO (thinking ahead to playoffs more so) but i could be wrong.

yao is better but he isnt exactly windex either.


With Yao and Dwight I wasn't only talking about rebounding, but defense all together. Both are excellent defenders. Amare is.... just kind ofthere.

And I think the 'vol.' thing is ******ed, maybe it's just me though.
