anyway, wtf did they do ?? reducing the bubble size is something... but putting a jacquard 95 sole on it.....

to save production cost for shoe and to avoid to manufacturing cost for a whole new mould for a midsole what resembles to the OG AM96 midsole they just slapped the AM95 ultra sole on the uppers, the shoe is now turn into a piece of garbage imo, it was better for them not to retro them at all if they dont want to get the midsole right

normal AM95 midsole cost 3 dollars extra to manufacture, thats already too much for a multi billion dollar company as Nike

that's ridiculous. but anyway, in europe at least, averything with this sole sells well.

but the real question is why they do very true to the og retro for a pair that won't sell like the am 120, and a pretty famous pair like this one get raped ??

they probably couldnt find something what is similar or suitable for the AM120, the only thing what would come close is the AM93 midsole, and tbh i also think that Nike secretly got inspired by some of those AM96 with AM95 midsole swaps that i have posted in here, but i agree with you that would've been much better if it got the AM95 midsole, just like the early OG prototype what i have posted in this thread

for me nike is now a ****** company, more than being unable to design new good shoes, nike needs to randomly destroy pieces of art

Well... They just saved me a couple hundred bucks. I saw a pic on IG and was about to post it just hoping it was a photoshop. It's real. It's all too real. Then they wonder why stuff goes to outlet.

because they wanna save $100K for a new midsole mould, and since they only make around $15 profit
on each shoe they will need to sell around 6700 pairs to earn the money back from the midsole mould

This might take the cake of the worst retro across the board....basketball, running, training, etc. Nothing comes to mind in recent memory that is atrocious as this. It ranks with nubuck "flu game" 12s, black leather Air More Uptempos and 13s with no 3M paneling

They just shot me in the chest with those images. My favorite Air Max will always be the 96. Can't tell you why, but I always loved the pattern, the colors & I still have my OGs.
