you're laughing but you are deff that type that gonna buy them if the price is low enough, im not living near a Nike outlet so i dont have the luxury to cop them for the low, but even if had the chance i wouldnt cop them, i owned the OG wmns blue cw but i cant see myself copping the same shoe now and wearing them again, i just dont like them anymore like how i did back in 96-97

just found this on FB group  underneath at the comment section from the AM96 pics what is posted in here yesterday, 1 guy is stating that the AM96 with normal authentic AM96 midsole is gonna release later this year, dont know if that is really true but will see

Well that's good. If true that means they're following in the footsteps of the 95. However to call those screenshots as OG is just wrong. That said the upper does look good. Apparently these are listed as Air Max 96 XX

Couldn't they adapt the midsole mold from what hey already have with the AMP and 95?
 
Any comparison pics of these 2016 midsole and what the OG midsole is supposed to look like?
 
They'd have to pay me to take up space in my closet with this ****. These are just a slap in the face. Hopefully they fix it and get it right but whatever. Money saved I guess. Glad I got to rock out with both OG colorway for a while a few years ago.

How are you gonna release them like that after all this time? I wouldn't be mad if these had a proper retro already. But this is what you come up with? Unforgivable.
 
Was it listed somewhere that they're were two different release codes? These are listed as the XX. Maybe they will release an OG for NikeLab and TZ stores?

Oh don't get me wrong AP retro made me smile but thinking about the cost of doing it and all...just seems silly that they'd go to the cost of doing the AP right but not the 96. Infuriating when Nike do This!
 
seems like the AM96 S II will get same the treatment as the normal 96s

i doubt if they will gonna release the 96s with normal midsole again
