Official Air Max ‘96, Air Max 96 II Thread

I wish they would as long as they are true to the OG - I had the black & purple pair.

They got messy fast though, the white mesh got dingy real quickly. Great pair. Almost got the blue/greens but missed the chance.

Waiting too long for these joints...not that 180 bammer !!

I sold a pair or two of the Grey/Violets some years back. I think one of them was my size. That's one of the few shoes I wish I had.

Lots of Air Maxs retroing but no love for the 96.

Any news of a release? Though a sneaker blog posted( I know not all reliable)some info a while back about a 2015 retro. I need the black/purple in rotation.

I had my hopes up when AMD posted that pic of that sole swap in a different thread

Hoping NSW takes notice and gives us a proper retro.

i like smaller air units, make the shoe last longer.. never been a fan of the 96's until I seen Cole from a Martin episode wear them.. he had a dope outfit on it that episode. they will eventually come back.. im not in a rush for them thou.. maybe like summer of 16 or 17

Heaven forbid a company take a look at how their production methods impact the environment (which they clearly did after having it brought to their attention) and make positive changes. The audacity!!

Btw, I don't believe the hype about the units being smaller because of using nitrogen now. Look at the size of the units on the 360--there's no reason Nike couldn't make them bigger on retros. Just like using inferior materials, they do it to cut costs.
