Good looking out Trent. I knew the official release was on the horizon but I guess some smaller retailers and boutiques got them early. Being so I was fortunate enough to find my size on EBay under retail but not much under retail. Seemed like the only pair in my size too out of all the sellers on the site. I'll post pics when they come in.

I could have had these back in early 2013 for $70 clearance and have been beating myself up over it ever since. I probably could have held out again for a big sale but did not want to wait nor risk not getting a pair again. Gladly looking forward to adding these to my collection.

P.S. Trent thanks for keeping us Reebok enthusiasts in the loop. I regularly see you schooling dudes in the Sneakernews.com comment sections too. Your extensive knowledge on this brand is much appreciated.

Hey I appreciate it brother, trying my best to teach and educate pass the hype, but you know how it is this days. Anyway I'm dropping knowledge on the YT channel daily too and my audience is not big either, oh well the few people that care are always welcome.

Still have my purple pair from 2009. Not quite sure how Reebok screwed up this colorway AGAIN and why they put a basketball pump on a shoe that was originally designed for runners smh They got the raquetball material right on another release but not these

It really is irritating. A lot of times these errors boil down to cost, laziness or lack of knowledge of the original. I'll bite my tongue on this one but the fact that they still can't get the teal colorway done right really bothers me. Even if you don't have access to the OG (which they should) you could look at a photo and realize the colors don't match up and neither does the pump. You could also do a quick search and realize the shoe was a cross training shoe designed for runners hence the reason the original didn't feature a basketball pump. .

Do they even have the Cross Training on the tongue? On top of that, the original one had a full foot Pump chamber and I can bet that this retro will only have the midfoot Pump chamber, just like all the models they messed up.

For those D-Times, I know it was a while back when Reebok sold the name rights for Above the Rim. A small company bought it and used it for sports apparel and shoes. I figure that's why they didn't put it on the shoe. Idk about the gum bottom. Maybe this one is a retro+ cway
