***New Reebok Pick-Ups, Release Info, etc.***

As promised before, here is my interview with Mr.Steven F. Smith, the father of the Insta Pump Fury and many other beloved by us models form many other companies, enjoy!
Awesome interview you asked so many questions that I always wanted to hear comments about from insiders, especially about the tech over the years. Kudos!

Thank you sir, I will continue working on bringing more and more interesting conversations to the community.

Umm. Uhh...

http://*************.com/news/2016/03/reebok-alien-stomper-sneakers

In a bizarre turn of events it looks like we may be seeing a reissue of the actual alien stompers Ripley wears in the film, like, the reaaally high ones. The article just says Alien Stompers are coming back on 4/26 but not really which ones or if we're getting both. Those highs are like Mags though. Nearly unwearable, but so cool. (To me at least.)

Edit: According to Highsnobiety they are in fact both releasing, and apparently Bishop wore the mids as well in the movie, never knew that.

Just got my Classic Leathers in. Went with my GLIII/GLV size. They fit a tad big, but I'm not sure if I could've done with .5 down.

LPU. Horween leather Reeboks. Japan limited colorway based on "Cat Street" in Harajuku. Absolutely love that area, so I had to have these. Supple navy leather, waxed laces, cork insoles, and leather lining. I think these will look fantastic after a bit of wear.

Nice nice pickup.

The shoes look great but I've had shoes with similar construction and they can be quite uncomfortable to wear. Due to the nature of the materials your feet can get quite hot and comfort can vary. I hope this pair is the exception though.

Thanks for the love on Harajuku Reeboks, guys!

Also, Hanon has the HAL NPC on sale right now. I would've saved nearly $80 if I waited lol.

Custom Vents shipped a few days ago and they're taking the full tour of East Asia, LOL...

Vietnam>Indonesia>Singapore>Japan>China>Korea

Next time a discount code comes up on customs I'm doing a "Ring of Fire" custom in honor of the mega-circuitous route they'll take to get to me, lol.

Hey guys. I've got a couple Reebok-related questions (ha) now that I've been looking into the brand for the first time--mainly the Questions and the original Answers, but I've seen some Shaq Attaq colorways I like--and I figured here would be a good place to ask them.

First, and most critically: what size should I be looking for? For reference, I'm a size 10.5 in Chuck Taylors, 11 in Adidas Sambas, and 11.5 in Nike Dunks.

Second, if I'm looking for comfort, is a shoe with DMX in it a good pick? Do they stay comfortable, or does that factor go down over time?

I would say on all those above mentioned models, stay TTS. As for the comfort is really hard to say, probably the Question due to the very thick polyurethane insole, if you get any of the recent retro DMX based models, keep in mind there is no real DMX in there, so the comfort is not what it was in the late 90's. But if you find an original pair that is in DS or near DS condition, dont hesitate to grab it.

True to which size, though? I mean, I'm three different sizes in three different brands.

I stay pretty close to my Nike size (although like all companies, Reebok has some variations with different models - I find Classic Leathers and Exo-Fits tighter in the toe box, although fine for length, so I try for 0.5 up, which is the same thing I do with Asics GL3s). But all my Questions, Ventilators and every different Pump model I have all fit very much like any Nike/Jordan shoe I own.

As far as comfort, the Hexalite shoes (Questions, Ventilators, etc.) are all super comfy for me. As Trent said, retro DMX is DMX in name only, without the real '90s tech. If it was real DMX, I would say that those are the way to go - original DMX Run 10s and Answers were the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn cushioning-wise!

Hope this all helps a bit. And welcome to Planet Reebok.
