SEATTLE SEAHAWKS THREAD

Re-watching parts of the game now & a few things to note on the Run D;

Bobby Wagner must still be hurt or just regressing mightily cause I couldn't count on 2 hands how many times he was out of assignment, missed a tackle, or simply washed up by Tampa's O-line.

Pete lightweight touched on it post game saying he believes the D is often going for the big hit or strip (Hi, Earl Thomas!) as opposed to simply making the tackle. KJ Wright and his attempted one arm tackles get a share of the blame, too. Mebane and McDaniel as well. Yards after contact have been horrid the past two games.

Can a D-line be 'too' active? They caught some major lanes on HB draws, even so going back to the Rams game. With quick backs like James, Stacy already taken advantage, and Jizz Rodgers next week I hope this isn't something that carries over another week.

Big Red is done.

Thinking back to the Tennessee/Arizona games Malcolm Smith is dearly missed.

The good thing about the defensive issues we're having is I think we have the personnel to fix them.  I'm confident we do, with some tinkering of our front 7 lineups.

It's not like the O-line where we just don't have the players to do it.

Pete making it sound like Percy wont be back for ATL

Red & Unger with concussions

Breno is practicing  but isnt likely to play against ATL as well, hopefully he'll be back (I cant believe Im saying that about Giacomini) for the Vikes with Okung

Having all these guys back before the bye week *crosses fingers*

All these injuries where we can least afford them. I don't care how we win these next two games as long as we win.

I expect Atlanta to go down to the wire again.

Our old friend is calling it quits

Dave Softy Mahler ‏@Softykjr Just talked to John Moffitt. He's giving up football. Told the @DenverBroncos two days ago. "I'm ready to live a different kind of life."

I see radio and TV in his future. Has the personality for it.

Pretty much. Michael Robinson single handedly probably launched this dude a TV career.

Also Pete pretty much called out a few players for not tackling right. Hopefully they get it right. I can't see ET get ran over by the little running backs no more :x

Good for him, though. And kudos to the guy for being able to walk away from the $ and all that comes with it.

Turbin hasn't been as good this year.  He's had a hard time getting into the second level.
