I've always thought Maxwell was the goods, just needs some more seasoning. Overall a very ****** 1st half...way too many penalties on both sides of the ball. Russ showing a lil bit of rust, too. All in all, they look just how any other team might look in the first preseason game of the year.

Michael showed great burst, very fast hitting the hole, but the holes either weren't that big or not open for long. Hopefully he plays some more in the 2nd half. Re: Williams & Hill...Williams started the 1st series at 3-tech, Hill was sparingly used. Didn't really get a good look on either to say. Though I think Hill did create some good interior pressure on a play with the 1's.

How much stock do you guys put into the preseason? My friend got all concerned about the first team D because San Diego was moving the ball down the field. But San Diego was also running bunch formations and end arounds, something you don't usually see in the preseason.

Team looks like they will be fine though.

I don't...It proves very little from a team standpoint. It's all about individual evaluation right now.
