Bittersweet.
I look at it as if they like him enough to keep him on the team, but he just wasn't ready - and they knew theres no way he makes it to the PS. He's been limited with knee issues but it gives him a whole year to come back healthy and even stronger.
I think Tharold Simon is next in line for IR.

It's up in the air at this point. He's on the PUP so he'll become eligible to return week 7 at earliest, but I'd expect him to come back sometime between week 8-10, imo. Also basing this on Sidney Rice's and his experience with a hip injury his first year here - he missed the first 8 games that year.

Would I really be wasting a roster spot though? My receivers are Demaryius, James Jones, Tavon, Nuk and Reuben Randle. I'd just be dropping my backup QB, Palmer, to pick him up. My starter is Brady. If I had to wait all the way til Week 10 that would suck pretty bad...but Week 7 or 8 would be straight with me.
