Tony McDaniel resigned. Word is 2 years at 6.3mil max value.
I'm actually really happy with the decisions we're making so far this offseason. Going to miss Tate but I would have been concerned had we committed that much money to him.
We haven't given out a single bad contract or made any "win-now" type of short term commitments. Look at what the Broncos and Saints are doing to themselves a couple years down the road. And the team should still be better than last year with Percy healthy and a draft that can hopefully shore up the line.
Now we just need to extend Earl. Come on now.

^ Agree with everything you said. Pete and Schneider know what they are doing. I'm a huge fan of the McDaniel resigning dude is a stud.

I forgot we picked up Chris Matthews earlier in the offseason. If he pans out, 
The front office definitely know what theyre doing and I have complete faith in that what they'll put on the field will be a better team than last year. Still a little sad over Clem and Tate right now, but I just have a feeling they have some really good ideas on how to fill the void.

Tate's my guy, so I'm glad he took the $$$ that the Hawks could more than likely put to better use. If you can get production out of lower rounds, may as well stay the course.
