SEATTLE SEAHAWKS THREAD

I read Seshawks were firm at 5 million per year, possibly up to 5.5, but I dont think the guaranteed money was close to Detroits offer.

Ravens are favorites to land Steve Smith, which might be a blessing in disguise. I know he's a lot like Tate, but I'm thinking the FO has got to be thinking of a big, tall WR finally.

Jermichael might be the next signing? If its a cheap and incentive based contract, i'm all for it!

Walt sounds a little agitated in his tweetTheyre probably lowballin' the hell out of him here

I wouldn't want to spend alot on him. he's a nickel corner that's never played a complete season and is one drug test away from 8 games suspended

Im sure they wouldnt mind him back and they probably wont budge on their offer much

Walt's market isnt probably what he hoped for outside of Seattle

Brandon Browner is a Pat now???????????????

I wanted a bit more clarification on Browner so I figured I'd ask y'all. Last year I didn't get to watch as many Seattle games before he was suspended so I'm wondering just how accurate reports were that he was noticeably struggling before the NFL cracked down on him. I heard the Seahawks were seriously contemplating letting him go during the season...that's not exactly comforting.

So I know y'all got a lot of love for him but how was he really doing before he got popped? Could his last suspension been a result of pressure he put on himself after declining play? I just want to get a fair assessment on how he looked in 2013.

Dont think he declined that much from last year if at all.

He is who he is, big corner who is good in press man. Solid in run support but will have problems if he has to play off his man from the line of scrimmage

He isnt the most fluid guy so quicker recievers will give him issues

Allow Browner to play close to his man and he's the goods.

Him at Strong Safety is interesting...the benefit of him playing corner is he has the sideline to help..I think if BB put him in a Kam like situation where he is playing closer into the box rather than deep coverage he can do some damage

^^^
Miller, McCoy back from injury, and Luke in his second year will be interesting ...

I'm down with Melton on some 1-2 year deal. He'd definitely be out to prove something after injury.

Meanwhile the Texans wait in the rafters like Sting :rolleyes.....

Melton went on to Dallas, sounds like a deal didn't get done.

That Miller news is outstanding though. We have like 20mm in cap space.
