I would take this team with all the problems with any of those mr goodie teams. (2005 is debatable)
SEATTLE SEAHAWKS THREAD - Page 105
No question. Quickly becoming one of my favorite teams ever in all of sports (Payton & Kemp being #1).
I'm all too happy to forget Matt "George W. Bush is an honorary Seahawk" Hasselbeck, personally.
Long Live Hass
A few notes from today's OTA session:
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
Cliff Avril sidelined w/ plantar fascia, like Bryant and Miller had last season. Should be back in 3 weeks.
Clemons is rehabbing in Georgia. Marshawn in the Bay Area.
Irvin practiced at SAM with the second stringers. He "appeared comfortable dropping in coverage defensively during passing drills". Malcolm Smith was taking 1st team reps.
McCoy suffered an ankle injury coming out of a cut and got carted off.
Base defense as of right now: Bryant at base end, Mebane at one-tech, McDaniel at 3-tech, Bennett at LEO, Smith at SAM, Wags at MIKE, Wright at WILL.
For third down, Mebane and Bryant played DT, Irvin/Bennett played DE, and Winfield came in for Smith at nickel.
Same O-line group as last seasons. Okung-McQuistan-Unger-Sweezy-Giacomini. Sweezy is still on his back from the beating he took in the Atlanta game.
Josh Portis "showed good anticipation in completing several throws down the field during 20minute and 7-on-7 today". Best back up QB of the bunch.
Spencer Ware got reps at FB and extended reps at RB - with Christine limited with tightness in hammy.
Baldwin looked to be back to his rookie form. Looked quick and explosive. Had 1 play where he burned Thomas deep and drew a holding call on ET.
Thurmond practiced and looked healthy. Worked at nickel with the second unit.
Mike Morgan looked to have bulked up and was taking reps at LEO with the second team.
Ty Powell got reps in at LEO also.
Lawd please please stay healthy Thurmond. I know the talent is there
Good to hear Baldwin is back at peak form.
I think Irvin playing SAM in blitz/pressure packages will be a good look.
In the jungle banging Nas, Mobb Deep and Wu
"My Ohhh My"
Such a great game, one of my favorites of the past few years. Still get hyped as hell watching the highlights and see Browner take it back to the house
If Thurmond can stay healthy the secondary will be insane, that is seriously so much talent.
And Portis my ***** I hate it had to be him
Hasselbeck is the GOAT. And without a doubt, I think we can all agree this is shaping up to be the best Seahawks team ever (even better than the '05 one), the season can't come soon enough.

Career #2 TE with some tools that equate to being a #1. He's far too inconsistent for my liking, though. I'm excited to see the rookie Wilson get his chance - it's been nothing but positives since he was drafted with that guy.
@daveski it's great and yes I will be ready to go game 1
Could be the best news of the off season.
Another Seattle Seahawks players has run into off-the-field trouble, and, this time, it has nothing to do with performance-enhancing drugs.
SeattlePI.com reported Thursday that guard John Moffitt missed Tuesday's organized team activities because of a court hearing tied to charges of trespassing and obstruction of justice.
The details are grim.
Bellevue, Wash., police report that Moffitt -- banned for a year from the city's Bellevue Square mall as of January 2012 -- resurfaced at the shopping center last June, where he was spotted allegedly urinating beside a parked vehicle outside Paddy Coyne's bar.
As police went on a search for Moffitt, they encountered two "very large males" running along a nearby street. Authorities directed Moffitt to stop, but he is alleged to have fled into a building at the Washington Square condos.
A Bellevue Square security officer later positively identified Moffitt, who was charged with criminal trespass and obstruction, a pair of misdemeanors. To make matters worse, Moffitt reportedly was caught trespassing in August at the city's Lincoln Square mall, yet another venue the lineman has been banned from.
Moffitt -- a man with a decidedly complex relationship with shopping centers -- has a court appearance slated for June 14 to address the alleged urination incident.
