SEATTLE SEAHAWKS THREAD

Going out for the season with an L is never a good thing, but we went out in one of the craziest ways ever.

We were down three possessions y'all, THREE and our guys faught back and were a couple stops away from another W. At the end of the day, the team knows what they can do, and what they have to do to win.

Awesome season fellow 12s, I can't wait til the draft to get things rolling again.

Sherman :pimp: :pimp:

On the real yo, I'm still sad as hell over this loss. So close......

I love this team though, just need a few more pieces here and there and they will be scary good for years to come.

i have to keep reminding myself that russell wilson is only a rookie. imagine how good he'll be next year with a full off season along with this playoff experience under his belt :x :x :pimp: :pimp:

Yesterday was not a good day for me :smh:

But what a season. No one thought we would have done what we have at the start of the season. I was calling for Matt Flynn since that game he had last season and didn't even blink when we drafted Wilson. Now look at us.

How many years have the Hawks been labeled soft? No one is talking that junk now. This team is built to make a run for the next 3-5 years.

Beastmode, Legion of Boom, Russell Trillson, Miller, Red Bryant, Chris Clemons, Bruce Irvin, Bobby Wagner, the O-line, Tate and Rice. We got PLAYERS on this squad. I for one didn't have alot of faith in Carroll when he first got here, but Pete put together one hell of a football team on all sides of the ball. We've built this team through smart trades and most importantly through the draft. I dare say people here are more exited then the Holmgren teams from last decade. It all comes down to the QB and man do we got one.

All we need to do now is get that pass rush tighter and get some more playmakers on Offense. Shoutout to Pabs, Certified SW, Paul, MMG, Dakid, Dmbrs, Trunks206, hell even Mez one for always holding the hawks down this season.

What a game, but what a hell of a season. I might be the only Seahawks fan in the entire San Francisco Bay Area, but I have been ride or die since the day they drafted Joey Galloway. You can imagine how Sundays are whenever the Seahawks and 49ers play

I rep hard for the Seahawks too...the only thing that takes the sting away from yesterday is the thought that this year's very young team can quite possibly be the WORST team we will have in the next few years. Everyone now has some experience under their belt, heartbreak, and the hunger to go after it next year. Cheers again fellas, to one hell of a ride.

SEAHAWKS!
Russell The God
Beastmode
Legion of Boom
etc.

Now what do we do about the off. and def. coordinators??

how do you guys think gus bradley would do as a head coach?

Considering Pete is a defensive guy too, it's hard to gauge how much of the impact falls on Bradley. He definitely deserves his credit..how much of it? who knows

Pabs knows what's up. DONT DO IT!!! Us UW Husky fans got bamboozled with "The defensive coordinator at USC" in Nick f'ing Holt. :smh: Look at our defensive statistics under him if you want a good laugh. Pete runs the show on defense, id be very wary about it, but then again I'm VERY bitter from watching the Huskies hand out career highs to average players up and down the West Coast every Saturday.

I sometimes forget Paul is still a Vikings fan. Nick Holt made Wilcox look like Chuck Knoll this season

I havent seen any names regarding replacement if Gus and Bevell end up leaving. I could see Cable and Norton getting promoted. Especially Cable since he's more than just the Line coach to begin with

Psssh....And proud of it!

I've already pretty much converted to the M's from the Twins, but the Vikings will be forever. No doubt :pimp:

Don't you ever say my name again. If I catch you in the streets I'ma slap the taste out ya mouth.

Paul is like Piccolo, yeah he started out as a sucka, but overtime the Z warriors came to depend on his assistance from time to time.

I think we'll be just fine with the turnover at both coordinator positions. As long as Pete still has his hands on the defense, it'll always look the same. The offense on the other hand might not be as smooth as a transition (think, Alex Smith) but he's simplistic as **** at times and without Russell last name Wilson playing the way he did in the last 2+ months of the season - he'd probably be get not 1 single offer to HC a team.

Kudos to both guys, though.

Wishlist for the 2013 draft...

Margus Hunt
Sheldon Richardson
Sylvester Williams
Alex Okafor
Ezekiel Ansah

And then maybe a WR like Cordarrelle Patterson or Deandre Hopkins or TE like Zach Ertz? But gotta strengthen up that pass rush first and foremost.

If he could be had for cheap

I'll take it. Osi would be a good 'insurance policy' for Clemons ACL - I still think he's got enough in the tank to be an effective pass rusher. That it'd free us up in the draft from soley being hell bent on DE/3tech DT in the first round. Possibly go LB'er, WR, or even TE.

Did he sign?!?!?
Don't think he has...yet. It's kinda weird, though, it's basically a press conference setting.

If he were smart he'd stay in SEA and coordinate what I think is gonna be one of the top offenses in the league. Then you're a hot commodity. Not settle for the Arizona job

Word. That situation was tough to watch and just seems like a migraine waiting to happen. I feel for Larry Fitzgerald. :smh:

I get coaches taking opportunities elsewhere if they get a shot, but sometimes it just irks me when you're already in a good upward situation and they just leave :smh:, especially to a rival team

Gus Bradley Reportedly Hired as Jacksonville Jaguars Head Coach

The Jacksonville Jaguars have hired Gus Bradley as their new head coach. This comes shortly after Bradley's Seattle Seahawks were eliminated from the NFL playoffs.

Bradley, who broke into the NFL with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2006, has been the defensive coordinator of the Seahawks since 2009.

Under his guidance, the Seahawks have ranked in the top 10 in points allowed per game the past two seasons. That includes holding opponents to 15.3 points per contest this season, the lowest mark in the NFL. They made it to the playoffs this season with an 11-5 record before falling to the Atlanta Falcons in the divisional round.

The Jaguars, of course, recently fired Mike Mularkey, who had been the team's head coach for just one season. It came on the back of an awful 2-14 season, so the move didn't come as a shock to many.

There was debate whether Jacksonville should hire a defensive- or offensive-minded coach before the eventual hire of Bradley. The Jaguars have a solid defensive core with plenty of talented players, but the focus has been on Blaine Gabbert and whether or not he is truly the team's franchise quarterback. That's a conversation we'll hear plenty heading into the offseason now that Bradley is taking over.

Ultimately, Jacksonville decided to go with a defensive-minded coach, and it's going to be interesting to see if the team progresses on both sides of the ball moving forward. One thing we can expect, given Bradley's success with the Seahawks, is for the Jaguars defense to be a force in the AFC South rather immediately.

This will be Bradley's first test as an NFL head coach. The Jaguars haven't been a dominant team for years, but this is a great move for the franchise, and the fanbase should be excited.
